Wamsutta Dream Zone Stripe 1000-Thread-Count PimaCott Queen Sheet Set in Ivory

Very poor quality - so disappointed. I've purchased these sheets many times before and was never disappointed in the quality. The product description - extra wide elastic keeping the fitted sheet firmly in place. The elastic band on fitted sheet is not wide at all - no tag on fitted sheet indicating side, bottom, or top.The produce description indicates it has extra-long and dense fibers which makes it more durable. For 1,000 thread count the weight of the sheets feels light and thin - not durable.I was willing to pay the high price for the product name because of the high quality but having seen the poor quality I don't plan on purchasing them again. Very disappointed.

I have always purchased this brand. But... there are different versions of Wamsutta, so be careful what you choose. These sheets are the BEST ones I have ever purchased. They have a thick elastic band on the fitted sheet that stay put! They are thicker than the cheap sheets you buy at the local store. They are very COOL, you don't get hot in them. I highly recommend these sheets, they will most likely out live you if treated right.

the only aspect of the sheets i like was that they were true to size. otherwise, there was extensive piecing together to make the sheet the right size. i have never seen that type of construction. the fabric is very thin, like gauze, and very rough. the satin strips go across the sheet, instead of their length.

Oddly enough, after washing the sheets, they seem less soft than my old 500 thread count Damask Stripe sheets. Perhaps over time they will soften. The other issue is that the top sheet is so wide that it hangs about 4" from the floor and my mattress is 16" tall.

Very disappointed. In the past, I have purchased Wamsutta damask stripped bedsets that I really like but couldn't find the same online or in the store. These are not smooth so that it's difficult to turn over without pjs getting tangled. The top sheet is so narrow that there is only about 1" to tuck in. The strips go across so not as pictured. The bottom sheet fits well. The "boxer" style bottom sheet means that there are seams at the corners from the top of the mattress to the elastic edge which is not unusual for fitted bottom sheets. If you're wondering what the zipper is referring to in the description - it's on the plastic bag that the sheets come in. I won't buy sheets online again - only from stores where I can feel the fabric.

I own 2 sets of these sheets from back then. I wanted to replace one of them. The product I received was of substandard quality. The seller was very uncooperative! Charged me $129.00 re- stocking fee for a purchase of just a bit more than $190.00 !!! I Almost passed out.
