Ives by Schlage 407 1/2 B10B Wall Bumper/Stop

Was replacing all my door knobs/hinges with matte black ones from schlage and these were a perfect match, easy to install and seem like they'd hold up well. I believe the old brass/chrome ones I was removing were schlage as well and they held up 30 years no problem, I expect no less than these.

It installed quickly with no issues. As shown in the picture it was installed on stucco so i needed to install two small washers behind it to clear the stucco.

Item as described

Product was as described. All of these door handle bumper stops work better with a toggle bolt anchor. (See pic) This is especially good when you are covering a large hole. Overall I am very pleases with this product. It looks great and matches rooms decor. I plan on purchasing another.

Screw inserts through rubber bumper and disappears makes for easy installation.

Item arrived as described. The bumper comes apart by simply rotating the cover around the base plate until the three slots on the base line up with the tabs on the cover. Do not pry them apart. I used the supplied white plastic toggle anchor and it holds firmly in my stucco wall.

Ignore the negative post about no instructions. Just Google the brand, model number, and add the word "instructions". You don't separate the base. The unit stays in one piece. The screw goes through the rubber. It's super easy and there's no reason why anyone would end up putting holes in their walls if they would just take 30 seconds to look up instructions.

The product looks good and mounted easily with the screw and anchor, but when I put the bumper over the base it didn't snap on and stay on. I have it on the wall but I'm guessing it will fall off the first time the door hits it. I wouldn't buy it again.
