Spartan iShine Floor Finish, 5 gal Pail

I do not want to talk about all the troubles I had getting the 1000 feet of old hardwood floor in my house repaired, sanded, and ready to finish. Near the end of the fiasco I hired a man to apply the finish. He said he would do it soon, but he would use iShine instead of Bona or another well-known product. He did a terrible job using a dust mop instead of a roller or t-bar applicator. With help from a friend, I eventually got two nice smooth coats of iShine over the first guy's rough work. We used a roller. Now the finish seems wonderful. It is glossier than most wood floors, but we like that look. iShine adds minimal color; the wood is darkened slightly, and it looks a little like wet wood. After the floor had cured for a few weeks we had some rather severe pet incidents. All of that cleaned up very easily with not a bit of change in the finish, even though some of the wet mess had been there for several hours before we saw it in the morning. The iShine floor is just right for walking with shoes, socks or bare feet. It is not at all too slippery or sticky. That made me happy. Overall, I am very impressed, and the man who helped me out says he will not hesitate to use or recommend iShine.

Use as a sacrificial coat for epoxy coating. Excellent results.
