BonJour Chef’s Tools Porcelain Crème Brûlée Ramekin Set, 4-Piece, White

I already had 4 of these dishes and needed 4 more for a dinner party dessert. They are very sturdy and I baked a delicious dessert in them and served them hot on mini cutting boards. Very fancy and festive. They are perfect for a small dessert after a big meal. I did not use them in the microwave. They do not stack perfectly but that was not a huge issue for me. Great value for a sturdy ramekin that can be used for lots of recipes.

Good quality. Perfect size for side dish or condiments. Very pleased with product and transaction !

Use this over shape Containers to organize small things like paper clips and dental floss. Also good to bake in or warm things up and in the microwave.

I'm giving this product a 4 star just because the dishes need to be a bit deeper. They are barely large enough for a 1/2 cup serving size and let's face it who eats that anyway? This is for a decadent treat no one wants a normal serving. You can use these handy white dishes for anything you'd want to bake up in them it's not limited to creme brulee. I would suggest placing them on a cookie sheet to clean up any spills that will happen since they are so tiny. I use them to make my smore's in too they do wonders for a broiled marshmallow.

So far, everything about these seems fine. I haven't cooked in them yet, but I'll update the review if I have any problems. I like the packaging. There's no major plastic component in it; it's just cardboard and paperboard. I like the sizing and think it will work well for what I want. There are some minor inaccuracies in the Amazon page, though. The packaging has some more accurate info, and I'll also add my measurements here: measured mass of one dish: 133.2 g rated capacity on packaging: 133 ml and 4.5 oz measured capacity: about 135 ml rim major and minor axis (ellipse): 131.58 mm x 81.38 mm footprint major and minor axis (ellipse): 118.76 mm x 72.92 mm dimensions listed on packaging: 5'' x 3.25'' x 1'' and 13 cm x 3.5 cm x 2.5 cm They are listed as made in PRC (People's Republic of China) for Meyer's Corporation in the US. This measured capacity is the absolute maximum that it could hold before overflowing and wouldn't actually be used at that capacity for creme brulee. I think it could reasonably hold around 100 ml as pictured, though. I don't see any significant quality assurance issues. The bottoms are unglazed as shown. There's a little bump on one part of each of the bottoms (presumably from a piping source), but it isn't significant. I was looking for something that would support a creme brulee portion on the smaller side of the accepted 4-8 oz range. This should work well.

These little cute ramekins are perfect for crème brûlée! They are shallow and long enough to make the perfect crispy charred sugar topping, which is the best part of crème brûlée. They are oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe, making cleaning a breeze. Strongly recommend!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought these ramekins to make twice-baked style potatoes with instant mashed potatoes. They were the perfect accompaniment with our Father's Day dinner. (Btw, making the potatoes this way is much quicker and easier; and they taste just as good.) They fit on our dinner plates, and they got beautifully clean in the dish washer. I would recommend them.

I was surprised when I opened the box and they were much smaller than I expected. Had planned to make some crème brûlée for the holidays and had to pivot to another dessert as they were too small to use. The packaging was not the best and could easily get broken although mine remained intact.
