Yogi Tea, Cinnamon Vanilla Healthy Skin, 16 Count

I wanted a tea that contributed to giving me healthy skin with no dryness and add more glow and moisturized and this tea is excellent.I have been drinking it almost daily at night and so far so good.The results on my facial areas are not dry. For me it taste great. It has a bit of a spicy note due to the cinnamon but not hot tasting. I love cinnamon and the vanilla adds a great flavor.I only use 1 tea bag since it is strong (for me) if you let it steep for more than the suggested time amount.Also, I found some helpful info online in regard to Vanilla and Cinnamon:Health benefits of Vanilla:Studies on vanillin suggest it contains strong antioxidant and antibacterial properties, and even cancer or tumor fighting abilities. This detailed Indian study (pdf) also found potential anti microbial and antioxidant properties of the volatile oils and oleoresins of cinnamon leaf and bark. But consider anti-oxidants as good for your whole body, repairing damage to virtually all parts of your body from skin to organs.Along with drinking this tea almost nightly I do moisturize my face so I am not saying my results are directly from this tea but for me anything that I believe to be healthy for me to contribute what I want is perfect for me. First of all, I drink this tea mainly for the taste. It is exactly as the name says, a sweet combination of vanilla & cinnamon. Think cinnamon roll in a cup.As for the active ingredients. Firstly, this tea is rooibos based. Rooibos (RRROY-boos) or red bush tea is a South African relative of acacia that contains all the beneficial components of green tea (incl. antioxidants, polyphenols) without the tannins that can irritate some people.It also contains nettle, which is fabulous for allergies of any kind, but particularly those that cause hives & rashes (ironically). Drinking it in tea form doesn't give you the beneficial silica of the whole herb, so it won't help your hair, though.It also contains licorice. The active component being glycyrrizine, which acts in a very similar manner to corticosteroids, so can be of benefit to anyone with autoimmune issues from psoriasis & eczema to more profound systemic issues.It should be noted (of course) that I am not a doctor and that no herbs can substitute good medical care. Also that LICORICE is CONTRAINDICATED for anyone with HYPERTENSION or LIVER DISORDER.But, if you have dry or itchy skin, drinking this tea regularly could help. As other reviewers have noted, it works even better in combination with the Skin Detox tea.Or just drink it for the yummy taste! Can't go wrong there.

So pleased with this tea! It arrived the next day and I thought that it was a good price. I drink a lot of tea and am always looking for yummy caffeine free teas I can drink all day long. This tea has a great flavor which is not overpowering if you use one tea bag. It tastes and smells like warm snickerdoodle cookies! I will update my review in a couple of weeks about whether it has done anything for my skin, but this tea is worth it to me for the flavor alone, so improving my complexion would be an amazing added benefit. Going to make another cup right now, and will definitely buy again!

I have been drinking this brand of tea for over 2 yrs and so glad I happened to find this flavor. It doesn't need any sugar to give it a sweet taste for it is a delightful tea to drink without sugar. I have mixed it with pomegranate tea and like the taste also. So good for you. Yes, I recommend this brand of tea and this flavor. Try all of the different flavors, they are wonderful.

Always looking for a new tea. I like coffee in the morning, and then I go right to tea. Yogi has a great reputation as a company that produces excellent tea products, and I have always been quite satisfied with the flavors.This is a nice tea with the cinnamon vanilla flavor. Not a big hit of cinnamon, but just the right amount with the hint of vanilla. At times I might add honey, but this tea does not need any sweetners. I like a couple of cups in the afternoon, and it is soothing to me.Recommended. prisrob 01-21-18

I originally bought this tea at my local organic grocery store and paid around $3.50 or $4.00 (as recently as a couple of months ago). I bought it because the cinnamon/vanilla flavor combination sounded good, not for the “healthy skin” implications. I did not see any changes in my skin but enjoyed a pleasant tea. While I like the tea, I doubt I will be buying it again at the $11.95 price. No box of 16 tea bags is worth that price. There are plenty of good teas on the market to enjoy that cost far less. I may try sprinkling a little cinnamon in my next cup of mild rooibos tea.

I’m giving this one star because I was short shipped twice. The ad says 6 boxes (96 tea bags) and I only received one box (16 tea bags). I called in and was told that the correct order would be sent out but again, I only received 1 box. Overall I have been short shipped 4 boxes of tea.While the tea itself is nice the buying process has been frustrating, the ad is misleading and I’m still short 4 boxes of tea.

Scam through and through ad states 6 pack of tea 96tea bags you get ONE box of 16.Avoid like the plague total rip-off. And to top it off it was all damage upon arrival!

The ad says 96 bags TOTAL. I ONLY RECIVED ONE BOX of 16 tea bags. IS THIS FALSE ADVERTISING???.....I SUGGEST CHANGING THE AD DISCRIPTION.........

Ive always loved yogi teas & more recently decided I love cinnamon teas! This is a really nice spiced tea that is easy to drink. Loving it mid-afternoon & daily. So happy I tried it.
