Mattel Disney Sofia the First Royal Tea Party Giftset

So my daughter loves Sophia and everything to do with Disney, but my only complaint with the product is the dolls do not stay in the chair. It all falls over easily. My daughter doesn't care, but if I were playing with it I would throw it against the wall in frustration. Why cant Sophia just sit and stay. Plus the dolls look weird when you stretch them out to stand up. Their dresses just stay in the sitting position.

I bought for my granddaughters birthday along with the castle. She loves them and plays with them a lot. The heads fall off but she just puts them back up and still plays.

Bought this for my 5 yr old granddaughter for Christmas...she loves it!! Plays with it and it goes so nicely with the castle too!!

We love Sophia but these dolls were not engineered very well. Hard to get them to sit, harder to get them to stand. Lots of little pieces that will go missing after 5 minutes. If you have a kid that love Sophia, what choice do you have? You will end up with a few of these regardless.

Purchased for our 5 year old, she was very excited to open it on Christmas. The quality was fine, I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews and almost didn't purchase it as a result, but everything is just fine. She can also incorporate it into her existing doll house which is good. We will buy more Sofia items like this, our girl is a big fan.

Have not openned this yet. Saving for a B.D. and more purchases for Sofia. Came in perfect condition, Great Price, will make a wonder B.D. gift and a very Happy Easter. you at Amazon have a marvelous selections choices. Prices are either better or similar according to the product. Besides I don't have to drive, search, stand in lines, or go out into the cold. Thanks

I agree with all the other one star reviews. I purchased this for my granddaughter who is 3 and she was excited to play with it for about 10 minutes. The dolls can't sit in the chairs (they slide right off) or stand up on their own. The dolls are cheaply made as well as the rest of the tea set. The dolls heads have not come off yet but she hasn't pulled on them. I was trying to assist my granddaughter in trying to make the dolls sit in their chairs and I notice how loose their heads were. Overall, a very disappointing toy which she does not want to play with now.

Bought this as an expansion pack for the sofia the first castle. Pros: - The figurines are cute and look like the characters in the cartoon series. - The accessories (2 teacups, 1 teapot, a plate of cookies) are bigger than the wine glasses and saucers in the castle playset. It's a reasonable size for 4 year old to manage. Cons: - Sofia and Jade only sit when their bodies are completely pushed forward in the sitting position, and are carefully balanced on the chairs. Even so, they topple backwards very easily. Not an easy thing for a child to do. - Seriously, how many Sofia figures do we need? Sofia comes with the castle set, this tea party set, royal family and there are probably more coming up in the production line. It'll really be good if this comes with Jade and Ruby instead of Jade and Sofia. My 4 year old's asking me why there are so many Sofia in her castle now. - Head popped off as I removed Sofia from the packaging. Did not happen again after that, since this Sofia is hardly played with compared to the Sofia in her purple princess gown. If you already have the castle set, this tea party set does not add much fun. If you don't have the castle set, you are better off buying a sofia the first figure set from disney.
