It works, it really does
A little sceptical at first but as plenty of people in the solar community have good experiences with this unit (available from all over, not just Amazon) I thought I'd try it.It is very straightforward to connect. I have 4 very large capacity 6V deep cycle batteries powering my 24V solar charge/inverter system. This unit connects very easily with a separate pair of wires going to each battery and that's all.The unit starts working right away. There is no display to tell you what is going on. I used a multimeter to check each battery's voltage and I can confirm that the balancer does indeed do a good job of equalizing the batteries. It appears one of my batteries is a little tired and the balancer is great at managing it. It helps prevent overcharge of the tired battery and undercharge of the good batteries.However, something that is missing from the description on here, and in most places it is advertised, is the noise the unit makes. The unit uses magnetic induction to isolate the voltages and transfer power between batteries. The coils inside the unit squeal/scream/whine. It generally makes a very unpleasant disturbing noise that overpowers pretty much everything else in the room. It is horrible and headache inducing and absolutely normal. It is not faulty, that is how it works. Fine for an outside battery farm but no good in a living space. I have mine insulated in a box to stop it disturbing people in the living space, but still allowing to to be cooled.

Looks like it can do the job
I'm unable to review fully as I got the wrong unit, However I did test with my two 12v batt's and all seems to work correctly? but unable to fully test. the overall unit does look to be well made and the main unit is sealed well. from a price side It's well placed with others on the market. It's easy to install and if setup up correctly should help your batt's last longer as it equalizes the batt volts when charging / discharging etc. So I'm giving it a 50/50 3 stars. As I'm unable to fully test.
