Pony Jorgensen 2630 3-Inch C-Clamp, Orange

This is a high quality, heavy duty c clamp. You can instantly tell that its a very solid clamp with a reassuring amount of heft to it. I could see this being what people call BIFL, aka a "buy it for life" product, which is almost always the standard of quality you want to aim for when you are buying something to use for construction or diy projects, especially when working with power tools and sharp objects. If you can see an item withstanding a decade or two of regular use it makes it much easier to feel safe relying on it when working with a power saw or a grinder. I do like the easy to find and spot bright orange color a lot, it sucks when you cant find a smaller tool like this and you need it for something. Doesn't lock up as you tighten and loosen it, making it a reliable addition to your toolbox. It is easy to get a super firm grip with minimal effort. Only thing is to be careful trying to clamp particle board or anything softer because it may clamp too hard and leave an imprint. Its really easy to get super tight so just beware if you don't want to crush the object like when you're clamping a damaged faceplate back in place with wood glue to repair an interior door. The clamp has a fair amount of depth to compliment the 3 inches in length.

EXACTLY what I expected from Pony/Jorgensen. I knew it was time to get 'the good stuff' when my 3" clamp from brand-x bent. Got what I paid for there. These are top notch.

Comes in handy when clamping out in the woods but don't try to use it for a clampfire.
