LOVE IT! Great for my diffuser!
Wow, you get SOOO MUCH, and it smells awesome! Nice and light, but still pepperminty! Love putting distilled water in my diffuser, and adding about 5 drops of this makes the room smell wonderful! Very high quality, and must be very fresh, because it doesn't have any "old smell," or like it's lost its scent.

Perfect scent, long lasting, large bottle. Ships fast.
Now brand products are my absolute! I have purchase several essential oil products from them, I will stand toes down aver the quality. I’ve used this Peppermint oil for over 2 years this is my 3rd 16 Oz bottle. Highly recommend, whether making soaps, candles, natural cleaning solutions or topical use( highly recommend a carrier like jojoba, almond oils for topical) I use it many, many ways.

Nice Natural Scent
This is a really good peppermint oil! My sister recommended it. The smell is perfect and really natural. I'm not a fan of store bought fake fragrances. They give me a headache. This is a great natural smelling alternative. I use it in my car, in my kitchen, or on my wrist. I'll definitely re-purchase this product.

Absolutely, love NOW’s peppermint oil!
I absolutely love NOW’s peppermint oil. It is nice and concentrated and works well in my hair growth formulations. However, this is the first time that I am having trouble opening my bottle. It is “cracked” from the sealed ring but I can’t screw it off. I will continue to try. lolol. Video attached. Still a five star product! This is the first time that I am having a mechanical problem.

Delightful oil, difficult to open bottle.
Wonderful product - I have been using these EOs for years and the quality is consistent. The bottle, though, has become very difficult to open. I just ordered 2 and cannot open either, regardless of what I try. It's a press & turn, and I can break the seal, but the lid will not come off.

The Genuine Stuff at a Great Price for Everything from Mouthwash to Rodent Deterrent
This is excellent true peppermint oil -- very strong! I've seen 16 oz of pure peppermint oil for more than $100 from other online sellers, so this is a good deal. When buying peppermint oil, you need to make sure that it is true peppermint extract, and not some poor substitute. The Now brand gets it right. This is so strong that when I spray it in the veggie garden to keep pests off, I have to be careful not to get it on some tender leaves or it will actually burn them. At the same time, this is a pure product and I use a little in water as mouthwash. Be careful to add just a few drops to say, an 8 to 12 oz bottle. It is potent! Dip a finger and test a drop of your mixture on your tongue to see if you got it right. Too strong? Just add a little more (distilled or RO) water. Remember to shake your mixed bottle well before each use! This is peppermint OIL, and does separate (float on top) of the water. Also, peppermint oil will actually melt plastic -- better to use a glass container. We live in a wilderness area which can become overrun with rodents. Our two cats hunt the backyard (veggie garden and fruit trees) and the roof, but they can't control the mice in the rafters/attic, as it's all insulation up there, with a ceiling made of nothing more than sheetrock. I can't poison the attic because a rodent could eat the stuff, crawl outside, be consumed by one of the cats and poison it as well. I've tried rodent traps, but it's a pain to have to get the step ladder out and crawl up through the trapdoor to check them and re-bait every two or three days. Besides, they hardly make a dent in the rat party. At times, we've heard scratching and skritching all over the ceiling of our large ranch-style house. So I mix this peppermint oil in water -- 1/4 cup per gallon -- and spray it in the attic, and then outside, around wheels, undercarriage and engine compartments of various pieces of equipment (pickup truck, compact backhoe, ride-'em mower tractor, various carts and barrows). From time to time, especially when winter comes on, we get an infestation of field and kangaroo mice in the attic. I've even found chipmunks up there. I've had pest control check the roof and they can't even find the ingress point or points. I guess the builders should have paid way more attention to rodent-proofing when they were building, but it's too late now. Mice can get in through a crack no wider than a nickel. But the rat party ends after I haul myself into the rafters and spray enough peppermint oil to make dampen the R-30 insulation. Instantly, there's blessed peace overhead! Rodents more than dislike peppermint oil -- they are highly allergic. While neighbors have had vehicles incapacitated with expensive repair bills, ours, with peppermint wafting, are left alone. (I've been spreading the word to the neighbors as well). Field mice, pack rats and the various members of the squirrel clan, actually eat the insulation off wires and wreak all kinds of havoc under the hood. I just have to remember to respray at least every 60 days, and in the attic, deliver a good soaking, twice a year. For a few days, we get peppermint perfuming the house -- something we actually enjoy, and the rodents hate. I was spraying with your average $15 pump herbicide gallon spray bottle available at any hardware department or store -- the kind with the pump handle on top, and a wand to direct the spray. However, this was a pain in the attic. "Attic" may even be the wrong word. It's a difficult crawl space between the ceilings and the actual roof, with rafters to crawl through, dusty insulation laying on the sheetrock ceiling, where one wrong move would put a foot through it and a nasty repair to contemplate. It's tough to move around up there! I wear a breathing mask and goggles to keep the insulation dust out. Hauling around a pump bottle by hand is just miserable. In addition, I can only stay in the middle and highest points of the rafters, where I'm still crouched over. I need at least a 25 ft jet to get into the hard-to-reach areas around the edges. Recently I bought a Hudson 4 gallon bak-pak sprayer with brass fittings that makes it all a lot easier http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H4DVPOG. Now I can mix up a big batch of peppermint, carry it on my back so my hands are free to climb, and and apply it with less hassle. If you're using a sprayer, between uses, wash it out with water a couple of times, and remember to spray some through the wand to at least dilute if not totally wash out the peppermint oil. Remember, this powerful product will melt plastic and the O-rings and fittings inside! In our opinion, the Now brand is an excellent and dependable product: Recommended!

This is THE BEST & strongest peppermint oil I've ever used. MANY uses!
This is THE BEST peppermint oil I've ever used. I have been buying this brand for years & recently made the mistake of buying a different brand that was supposedly 100% peppermint oil; but, it was not as potent as NOW brand peppermint oil. I reordered NOW brand, & I will never buy peppermint oil from that other brand. The 16 oz. size is a GREAT value at this price. HINT: U can dilute it with coconut, or almond oil B4 applying it directly to skin. WARNING: Do NOT get in your eyes, OR near your eyes, OR in, or near your genitalia, OR it will burn like the DEVIL!!! WARNING: I am NOT responsible 4 ANY information that I have regurgitated here from others’ information & online research. Records indicate that peppermint oil has been used for thousands of years by various people. Some of the many traditional healing uses purported for peppermint include: Most antiperspirant and deodorant products contain aluminium; so, I use peppermint oil. Blood pressure: lowers bp Cleaning: House (add 2 mop water 2 prevent spiders, crickets, etc. & smells great) Cooling mist spray Freshener: Automobile (add a few drops 2 diffuser necklace) (Remember 2 refresh periodically.) Freshener: Room Freshener: Laundry Mental: The oils also give a pleasant feeling of well-being. Mouthwash: Add a few drops 2 water and gargle for fresh breathe and antiseptic Muscle pain: Spray, or rub onto any sore, or aching muscles. Repellent Insect (i.e., ticks, mosquitoes, spider, etc.) Repellent Insect (i.e., wasps/bees mix with Dish soap & water) Repellent Critters (i.e., cats, skunks, raccoons, rodents and many other critters Repellent Critters (i.e, mice: Apply 2 cotton balls & place wherever U have seen rodent evidence. Apparently, smell burns their nostrils.)(Remember 2 refresh periodically.) Repellent/Exterminator: Ants - A mixture of peppermint & tea tree oil kills & repels ants! Scalp: Add few drops 2 shampoo, conditioner-it leaves scalp feeling tingly clean & stimulated Sinus relief; (If headache, place a few drops on pain area--NOT NEAR EYES!)(Also, U can heat a cup of water in microwave for a minute, or 2 & add a few drops; then, inhale through your nose) OR add 2 a diffuser. U can mix peppermint oil with equal portions of eucalyptus oil. For best results, place the diffuser in a small, closed room. Stomachache: rub it on your stomach clockwise (if counterclockwise makes U poo) Toothpaste: Natural (I add 1 drop NOW tea tree oil and 9-10 drops of NOW peppermint oil to 1 teaspoon of pure coconut oil & swish around; then, expectorate.)

Purchased this for the purposes of using it to keep mouse away. We have cats, so the mice were not coming out of the walls, but we could hear them. After applying the peppermint toil spray solution, I didn't hear the mouse anymore. At the same time, we also put walsarin poison behind the wall. I think the combination helped. If your looking to use this as a mouse repellent, I would suggest the following: using a bottle spray, add a table spoon of peppermint oil, along with purified water. I use purified water because I don't want hard water counteracting the effectiveness of the peppermint oil. Thus, I used filtered water, and then I boiled it; after an hour of cooling, I poured the water into the spray bottle along with the table spoon of peppermint oil, gave it a good shake and began spraying. I found out about a good mouse deterrent: mint. Thats right, mint- the herb that grows in our gardens can be used as a mouse deterrent. The way to apply this form of deterrent is to plant mint around your house; particularly, near the outer walls of the house. In the summer we will be planting mint around the parameter of the house.
