Good enough for me!
As a crocheter, I'm learning to knit and chose this as my first "set" of needles because 1) i prefer the wood texture and 2) not as expensive as the nicer brands. good range of needle sizes and the bamboo isn't broken anywhere. After using them for a couple projects + moving between states for college, the haven't splintered or become rough to the point of snagging my yarn. I have noticed that some of the smaller needles are bent/curved, but that hasn't impeded my ability to knit

I love these bamboo needles! Highly recommend
4.5 stars I love them. They do not feel cheap. They feel sturdy. I have been using them for a couple of weeks now and they did not break. I wish the numbers on the needle were darker so I would be able to read them clearer. Also, I wish the string to tie the bag was longer.

Great beginner set of needles!
These arrived a few days later than expected, but that was due to the postal service and not the seller. I checked out all the needles and they're all smooth, no rough areas or anything, nothing for the yarn to snag on. They all have the size, in mm, marked on the side. I think I might be missing a size, the sizes I received match what's in a photo of the item but not what's in the written description. I received these sizes: 3.0mm, 3.5mm, 3.75mm, 4.0mm, 4.5mm, 5.0mm, 5.5mm, 6.0mm, 8.0mm, 9.0mm, 10.0mm. The description of the item says that it includes these sizes: 3.0mm, 3.75mm, 4.0mm, 4.5mm, 5.0mm, 5.5mm, 6.0mm, 6.5mm, 8.0mm, 9.0mm, 10.0mm. I think I received size 3.5mm instead of 6.5mm. Not sure if this is going to be a problem or not since I am just starting to learn how to knit and I don't know exactly what sizes I will need. I just wanted a starter set with a variety of common sizes to start with. Despite the confusion about the sizes that are supposed to be in the set, I am still satisfied with the purchase. It has a nice range of sizes and they seem to be well made, the smaller sizes feel very delicate, so I will try to be careful when using them, they're so thin they feel very fragile, but I imagine almost any needle that small would feel delicate. The holder that they came in is a nice little bonus. It's a bit on the flimsy side but it's still a nice way to keep the needles stored and organized. I eventually plan on making my own holder as one of my beginner knitting projects. Overall for the price, this is a great value and I believe that it is a great set for beginners. Please note that I didn't add any stars for "Easy to use" because I haven't started learning how to use them yet, this is nothing against the seller at all, I just haven't had a chance to use them yet so I can't really provide any feedback on that, but I don't think I'll have any problems with them.

Very good quality needles
I haven't used every pair yet, but they all feel smooth to the touch and the ones I have used haven't had any burrs or splinters. They are pretty strong wood and I don't feel like I'm about to break even the smaller ones unless I was just careless with how I handle it. The tips taper nicely to a blunt lightly rounded end, not a sharp point. On the biggest, the tip is as wide as a pencil led and on the smallest probably the width of very small tapestry needle. They are 9 1/2 inches not counting the bead at the end except three odd needles that are a 1/4 inch shorter. There is a very slight curve in a few of the smaller needles, but that's unavoidable. The sizes in mm are clearly marked on the sides and slightly pressed and burned into the wood. Overall really great set of needles and I'm happy with them especially for the price. The roll up carrying case is just ok. its made of a nonwoven fabric of some kind, and rolls and ties just fine, but the stitching at the bottom allows the very tips of the needles to peek out occasionally and that's not great. Its fine to keep them bundled up while in a bag but I wouldn't carry them around in just that unless I reinforced the bottom seem. Think of it as an organizer not a carrying case.

Learned to knit with these
I learned to knit with these and they were perfect for a beginner. I appreciated having all of the different sizes for different types of yarn that I got to practice with. I found them very comfortable to use for a couple hours. I appreciate that there’s a little bit of texture on the needles to hold my yarn Instead of just slipping off. I highly recommend these.

Good
Nice knitting needles. The yarn hangs on well. I haven’t had any splinters yet. They do have a curve to them. This doesn’t affect using them in my opinion. The length is good for the scarf patterns I’ve knitted.

Great grip for lace and slipping yarn
I have used Knit Picks Interchangeables for years. I find that bamboo and wood drags too much for my taste. However, when your favorite niece asks you to knit a vintage snood, you can't say no. I tried relentlessly with my nickel needles, but I kept dripping stitches (a series of yarn overs isn't fun when you're trying to pick them up using small needles). I also did not want to spend a fortune on ONE set of circular needles as I wasn't sure what size I really wanted. I opted to give this set a try and I'm so glad I did! I am using the smallest size to whip up a lace, triangle scarf before making the beloved snood. I definitely recommend this set; you get a big bang for a decent price. You also don't have to worry about cables coming off, as can happen when using interchangeables. One thing to keep in mind if you're a new knitter is not to use too much pressure when using the smaller needles. They are meant for fingering weight, very light yarns and will not withstand a heavy-handed knitter (I have learned to loosen my tension over time.)

Ok for kids but wouldn’t recommend
Almost all the needle sizes are out by approx 1US size or 0.5mm. I measured with 3 different knitting needle gauges and they all showed discrepancy. Most of the needles especially smaller sizes are bowed/bent and a couple of needles had weird white marks/ rough spots. The needles are quite smooth otherwise, and do have a nice point. The case is cute and functional, but is cheaply made. These are ok for my child to learn on, but wouldn’t be suitable for someone who wants an everyday set of needles. They are over priced for the quality in my opinion.
