Speedo Silicone Long Hair Swim Cap

Works well...durable...the only one I buy

This swim cap is perfect! My hair was protected and remained relatively dry and it remained in the cap the entire swim! I didn’t struggle without any slip issues and go stretch covered my long her perfectly! It was very was easy to use!

I bought this cap when I first started swimming. I have longer hair so I figured this would be a great starting point. The cap does a great job for what it's meant too. My hair is a few inches below my shoulder. It took me a few times to get the hang of putting it on. I recommend stretching the cap a good amount before placing it over your head. I put my hair in a bun and stretch the sides over the top of my head. Very similar to the how-to videos I watched. I've noticed that the cap can pull back on my front hairline when continuously swimming without adjustments, I will tend to find a few loose hairs when I take the cap off. So, I tend to check/adjust throughout my swim, which can be annoying. The cap is silicone and fits tight, so it makes sense why this happens.

I have a large head (man sized) as a female with hair half way down my back. I can get this cap on with no room to spare. I needed practice with my technique getting it on. I find it's super easy to slip on if I powder it after use. I've used it for a year and a half now with no holes or tears. When it wears out, I'll replace it with the same thing. Water will get under the edge but that's what happens if a hair is sticking out at all. My hair grows down my neck and the roots are exposed so of course that wicks in water. But my hair isn't soaked, just damp around the edges. The true point of a cap is to keep hair out of your face and out of the pool...or make you move faster in the water if you are a competitive swimmer. These caps are not designed to keep your entire head of hair dry.

This cap is for men. Nowhere when ordering it does it state that initially. I’ve ordered before with no issues. Too small for a woman’s head with hair length to top of shoulder. Very misleading.

I have long and thick hair, and a LOT of it 😅 was hoping this would work for me but i think my head might even be on the smaller side (that or i seriously have TOO much hair) because it was gradually slipping off my head after i was in the water. Didn’t work for me. Easy to use if you know how to properly put on a swim cap— there are really good videos on youtube that can show you how to do it if you have long hair. Definitely seems rip resistant and the quality is okay. But did not work for me. My hair was wet and it almost seemed like the cap was both too big and too small. Will look for something better!

This swim cap has been working better than expected. Like others, I’ve had issues of the cap slipping off when I swim longer distances. I have another Speedo cap for long hair and that has a softer elastic feel. This one has a thicker material which made me think it wouldn’t be as elastic but it’s actually pretty flexible. I’ve found that if I have the front of the cap a little lower, almost to the middle of the forehead, it stays on pretty well throughout my swim. Still slips off a wee bit on longer swims but not a big issue with a quick fix! My hair length is a little below my shoulders and this cap works well for this length.

A little tight, but over all very useful, it severe its purpose.

I've worn this cap many times in the pool and I've never had an issue with it tearing. It does slide off sometimes, but I chalk that up to my weird shaped head. Your goggles easily hold it on.

Not much of a size difference than the regular one- but surely a little better. Good material. Quick shipping.

Much better than most other swim caps because it is flexible enough to pullover your head. Most of the others are just too tight.
