Lightweight Sunscreen That Doesn’t Clog Pores
This sunscreen feels super light on the skin and doesn’t leave any greasy residue. It blends in easily and works great under makeup. Perfect for sensitive or acne-prone skin—no breakouts at all. Very reliable sun protection!

My teen kids love this sunscreen. it doesnt cause acne & doesnt make their face feel oily. they havd used other brands that say oil free but still make them feel oily/break out. I use this myself under my makeup. great product!

Allergic Reaction
I’ve admittedly not been the greatest about wearing sunscreen, but decided recently it’s time to take things seriously. So I purchased this sunscreen in the hopes that it would serve its purpose, while also being gentle on my acne-prone skin (because having acne at 28 is so cute). So…it did protect me from the sun, meaning that I didn’t get burned; HOWEVER, I had the unfortunate realization that I’m HIGHLY allergic to chemical-based sunscreens. (All those years of experiencing itchy hives the day after sunscreen application and I just chalked it up to being sunburned, and lowkey thought I was allergic to the sun; yes, I am a few sandwiches short of a picnic) I have the worst hives on my neck, around my eyes and sporadically all over my face, and I absolutely want to peel my skin off with a cheese grater. BUT it didn’t break me out so I guess that’s a bonus. TLDR: It served its purpose of being anti-sunburn and gentle on acne-prone skin, but it’s horrible if you’re allergic to sunscreens that aren’t mineral-based. Lesson learned.

Brown Skin Girl
This sunscreen leaves a tad bit of white cast depending on how much you apply but after a few minutes it absorbs well it's not heavy it's creamy & smooth not greasy and has plenty of moisturizer in it i found using this along with a moisturizer before hand left a greasy look so i skipped the moisturizer because that's what works for me due to me not liking the greasy or shiny look and it works well underneath makeup the SPF 30 works for me considering I'm not a person who is in the sun alot

Not Bad, but Not Amazing Either
The Neutrogena Clear Face Sunscreen SPF 30 is a decent option if you have acne-prone or sensitive skin and want something that won’t clog pores. It’s lightweight, absorbs fairly quickly, and doesn’t feel overly greasy, which is a plus. However, it can be hard to blend in to my skin, leave a slightly shiny finish, and it stings a bit if my skin is irritated or if it gets near my eyes. It also has that classic sunscreen scent, which frankly I’m over. These companies can do better. Overall, it’s a solid, basic sunscreen for everyday use, but there are other options out there that feel more comfortable or have a more skin-friendly finish and ingredients. I ended up finishing the tube on my arms and legs. I have also purchased this in SPF 55 and my feelings are the same, but since it was SPF 55 I did wear it outside for long periods. With replication I avoided getting burned, so that's good.
