Certified Appliance Accessories Braided Stainless Steel Washing Machine Hose with Elbow, 4ft

I put in a portable washing machine in my RV last spring. The plastic hose it came with was very short, so I thought upgrading to this would be a perfect solution. I installed it last week after waiting impatiently over the winter for camping season to get here. It fit the connection well and I was able to better position the machine in the closet. I was thrilled...until I turned the water on and discovered it sprayed everywhere. Tried hand tightening; no luck. Took both ends off (they both leaked) and applied some plumber's tape to the fittings. Nope. It's not the threads that leak but the center where the female attachment is connected to the hose. I was now soaked, as well as my carpet, and I'd wasted over an hour of frustration. It clearly will never work. Took it off and put the old hose back on: voila, no leaks. What a waste of money.

Easy To Install!!! I did it myself and I'm a disabled Female. The price was great. This product is durable. And I love the design of this hose. I installed this about 6 months ago. And so far it's been great!!!Edited.. A year later and It still works great!!

I was so glad to find something that worked and didn't leak! Granted, you do have to make sure all is tight. But when it is, it doesn't leak. Like the "flat" end. Makes a portable washing machine easier to work with.

My last hose had a plastic attachment that melted onto my faucet and ruined it. This metal one can hold up to hot water.

Hoses are a little stiff, and I wish they were available in 3-foot lengths. But these are high quality, and will last a lot longer than the plain rubber ones you get with your washer.

It doesn't leak and fit perfectly for my washer connection. 10/10 would re-buy.

Product is great. Unfortunately, the package looked like it had been through the wars. As a result, the washers from the pipe ends came out and one was missing. Fortunately, a regular hose washers fits. Perhaps a better washers or method to retain the washer in the fitting would be better.

bought this for my portable washer (dorm style) fits nice.... make sure not to very tighten.
