Men's Duck Bib Overalls Unlined

I have never owned a pair of overalls. Never worn them, unless it was a suppressed memory from back in my toddlerhood. Until now.I have a bunch of Carhartt work pants that I haven’t been able to tear up. One day killing time on Amazon I came across overalls and thought, “Why not?” Besides, my wife thought they’d look “cute.”I’m in my mid-50’s, and I’ve been married for over a decade. Wardrobe and appearance aren’t real high on my priority list. If I’m clothed, the wife and neighbors couldn’t care less what I wear.These are awesome. Heavy-duty, stiff, and they smell amazing coming out of the plastic bag they were shipped in. Like a new car smell.The UPS truck wasn’t out of the driveway before I was putting these babies on. The wife loved them. It was a new experience for me, but I loved ‘em, too.I’ve since worn them every day, washing each time to break them in, and soften them up. Building shelving, cutting lumber, running a chainsaw, climbing ladders, washing my truck. All the stuff I visualize one sporting overalls to be doing.They have exceeded my expectations, and I’d buy them again in a heartbeat. Very well made—in fact, almost over-built. And the sizing in my case is spot-on.Five Amazon stars, Carhartt. I’ll be ordering more.

With lots of pockets/loops for storing and attaching things. I have bought a Carhartt lined bib before so knew that they size on the small size. I recommend +4-6 inches waist size to the unlined and +6-8 inches to the lined bibs depending if you want a snugish fit or lots of room since they shrink noticeably with washing and drying. Inseam length is accurate though, and didn't change much with washing. These bibs need to be washed twice at the start to soften them up then they are good to go.EDIT: After 6 months of use they have shortened a bit on me, I'd now recommend adding 2-4" to your inseam to allow for shrinkage. The waist fits nicely though, but if you want to wear very thick layers underneath I'd reckon you should dd 10" to the waist. The material is nice and soft now, and in great shape considering I used them daily over summer.

These fit exactly right I am a "real" 38W X 36L and I ordered the 40W X 36L and they are long enough and fit just right. Maybe just a tad tight in the waist but that is ok because I gained weight over the holidays. I expect to lose 10 lbs and then these will fit just right. These are the first time I got something that actually was made right!! I will get a pair of the black ones as soon as they get the size back in stock!! Perfect!! Nice and warm for the winter here in Virginia. I ride my bike in the cold days and these are great!! The length is what I am happy with!! Plenty long enough!!

Man, I love these Carhartt overalls. They are the gold standard for this type of workwear. I use them for projects around the house and garage, working on my Jeep and motorcycles, and snow shoveling in the winter.AS FOR SIZING!!! These are very different than your average pair of jeans. In regular jeans I'm either a 34 or 36 waist, with 30 length. For these overalls, I wear a 40x32!! Yeah, really! And it's not baggy in the waist at all. Especially if you wear jeans underneath. So, I'd recommend at LEAST 2 sizes bigger in the waist, plus one size bigger in length. Heck i'd probably be happy wearing a 42x32, especially with a hoodie underneath.Some sizes I wear in other brands--American eagle jeans- 34x30Levi jeans- 34x30Dockers pants- 36x30Fox Motocross pants- 36So again, buy bigger than normal here!!Sizing aside, you can't go wrong with these overalls. They are super thick and tough, almost like a canvas material. Plus they look awesome. They also have a zipper fly which is really convenient, along with buttons on the side to make it easier to slide them on. Plenty of pockets and a carpenters loop. I love them ;)Now I fit in with all the cool queers! I was always too poor to get name-brand bibs (still am), but caught a sale and I am sooo happy. No longer jealous (as much)I am a bit unhappy that there is only partial adjustment on the straps. Only a small portion in the front is adjustable before it changes material. So if you are shorter in the torso, just be aware of that.They have been holding up well to the work I've been doing in them and they are warm enough even though they are unlined.I also wish they gave more options for length even in big & tall sizes, but I can roll or hem.Glad I finally got to get me a pair of these.Definitely recommend ;)

These overalls are fantastic for protection from thorny brush, which is the purpose I bought them for. They are impervious to sticker bushes and woody shrubs and serve as a terrific barrier for the skin and underclothing. They are a bit stiff even after washing and the size seems to run small, especially if heavier clothes are worn underneath. I ordered 2 sizes up for the waist measurement because of this concern, and I was very happy I did because anything smaller would have been too snug. I think the stiffness of the material contributes to the snugness of fit. The length sizing is great and I ordered the closest to my true inseam size. The overalls have adjustable straps at the shoulders which helps a little bit, too, but won't much give extra length or pull them up a couple inches higher if needed. This was a very satisfactory purchase at a good price.

First let me say I’m not a big guy, 5’7 153 lbs. not built,just in good shape. In jeans I wear 30x30.usually buy 31’s then after you wash them they fit perfect. I read other people saying that these bib’s run small, So I the bought 34x30 bibs,figured I could just return them if I was swimming in them. Thank god I ordered them that big because they fit perfect. On me the 34x30 fits great. Hope this helps someone
