Works as described with no issues on a GoPro 12.

Super easy plug and play.
This adapter works great. Only issue I found is that it only records on the left audio channel. I’ll have to figure out how to set the GoPro to record in mono, since the helicopter headset output is not in stereo.

Doesn’t work
Can’t get setup to work consistently. Has worked for 1 out of 6 flights. Unable to trouble shoot, when I plug the adapter in the GoPro registers it and switches to “standard non-powered mic” but zero sound occasionally you can BARELY hear sound at such a low level you can only hear noise but not discern what is being said.

Lost cable
Can I order this product without the GoPro piece as I already have it from having ordered this before. Lost it in Afghanistan. Love the product worked flawlessly. Need a replacement.

Worked well for a limited time only.
Used in both part 61 and part 141 training settings between Cessna 172’s and Diamond DA-40’s, coupled with a GoPro Hero10. Worked amazing for about 6 months, then required constant readjustment at the connection between a Bose A20 headset and the Inflightcam cord. During flight, the cockpit audio as well as radio comms came in quiet with static until readjusted. Some flights required multiple adjustments and sometimes to the point where I had to remove the inflightcam adapter just to maintain comms. Benefit does not outweigh the cost on this adapter, especially when it compromises maintaining communications during flight.

For helicopter, great customer service
My husband is a pilot, they sent him the wrong cord initially but we contacted the seller and they were great about sending us a shipping label to return the other cord and they shipped out the correct one promptly. He’s been using it for over a year with no issues.

Excellent sound!
Works perfect in an r22 and hero 8. Just make sure cables are all the way plugged in at the rubber thing.
