This review is long overdue. It will be long, but follow it to the end to see why they got 5 stars... it should be more!I purchased the system for when we are boating. We spend the summer on our boat in remote areas of Canada and my husband uses hearing aids so docking conversations sometimes get loud, if you know what I mean. Our boat is over 50' and in windy conditions it gets challenging to dock. This system was recommended by friends.When we received the system I charged it and we tried it in our home and it seemed to work perfectly. We used it successfully twice then it started not pairing and it got very frustrating. I had never used the system before and so didn't know what I was doing wrong or if it just didn't work good. Keep reading, things get better. We were finally at a little tiny fishing lodge in BC that had wifi for guests so I contacted Amazon. A great kid walked me through all the steps but it still would only pair every second or third try. He told me how to get in touch with EarTec. I emailed and I think in less than 2 hours I had a response! We connected by phone, then. Same day! There is a 3 hour time zone difference so I was thrilled. I talked to an amazing person named Scott. We again went through all the steps and he said I was doing everything right and they would ship me a new set with a return label to ship the set I had back. The only problem was that we were on our trip for another 6 weeks. But we had family flying up to join us in a month. He said he would ship anyway and I could return the others when we got home. Really? He trusted me? Well, due to a family medical emergency I had to fly home for a week and the new set came while I was home. Great timing. Man, what a difference! The replacement set is awesome and works so well. It is much clearer to talk and it pairs correctly every time. Scott emailed me several times and was probably the best customer service person I have talked to and worked with in years. The company stands by its product, is responsive and I recommend the company and this product to everyone!

After searching for a while, we bought a set of these for use in a datacenter environment. They provide a moderate amount of noise suppression with the over the ear model. The microphones pickup some of the ambient fan noise but you can push the mic upwards and it automatically mutes. This feature allows for quiet when not collaborating with someone in the datacenter. Battery life is good and overall happy for the price and performance of these headsets.

We purchased these headsets after trying over and over with 2-way and other radios to have a communication solution in our side by side. The price tag kept scaring us away but we finally broke down and bought them after talking with a product rep and finding out they would be OK for use in the dirt. They are FANTASTIC! Not only are they comfortable (which is a big statement coming from me since I have nerve damage near my ear and in my neck so even comfortable sunglasses are hard to find) but they block out much of the external noise and the noise cancelling mic works great! We can easily talk with each other without having to push a button and the transmission is extremely clear. Add to it that there are no cords to deal with and these headsets are total winners! We love them!!

These are awesome. Bought them for our church camera team. Work excellent. They have great range.

So I bought the 4 user system. I am using it as an "in car" headset system for a Can Am Maverick Max. I have to say it does a pretty good job.THE GOOD: They are lightweight, the battery seems to last more than the length of a daytrip and recharge very quicklyThe headband will accommodate the wearing of a baseball cap.The sound is pretty good and you can still hear what is going around you.The charger that comes with the 4 user is an 8 battery charger which is fantastic! Good on the manufacturer for going above and beyond!The well padded 4 headset case actually fits ALL 4 HEADSETS! There is room for batteries and the charger too without calling in your Engineer to figure out how to put all this stuff in the bag. Thanks for not skimping on the size of the bag.The mics work great.OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMPROVEMENT:The foam earpads could be a little thicker and a bit larger for comfort's sake.The on/off is confusingly complicated except on the "Master" unit which has a simple slide switch. Nothing works with the Master off so how difficult would it be to have the other headsets turn off when the master is shut off? If you forget, there goes the battery....You can't hear your voice very well when talking but the other users can hear you fine. The lack of feedback of your own voice tends to make you want to shout which magnifies the problem because everyone turns down their volumes which results in everyone talking louder. A little more feedback would be nice.The battery door is very flimsy and not easy to open or close, and certainly not something you would want your kids fiddling with, but it is recommended you remove the battery when you are through for the day so this door will get a lot of use. I see broken doors in my future..... I hope they are replaceable...CONCLUSION:I have used them now everyday during a week long trip where I had power to charge them daily and the cumulative riding was less than 6 hours per day. I had ZERO batteries dying but will be buying a couple spares to keep them handy just in case.They are easy to keep clean as there are no sharp edges to catch the cloth when wiping them down daily.The $800-ish price tag is steep but considerably less than alternatives for my use but so far I feel the value is there.So far, I am pretty happy with the purchase.NOTE: If I were a hard core Maverick driver, these would NOT be conducive to that type of use. Save your money and pony up for race radios and headsets. If you are a trail rider, these are PERFECT and 1/3 to 1/5 the price.Hope this helps.

The Eartec system is the best wireless intercom I've ever used. We film stage productions in very loud environments, and we've tried everything from scrambler radios to the old "Fisher Price" style Eartec headsets from 20 years ago. The UltraLITE system is super clean, and we have no issues communicating even in different areas of an auditorium. The double ear cups do an amazing job at reducing the outside noise, and the system has noise cancellation that filters out most of the background noise when someone is speaking into their mic. Battery life is fantastic, and on most shoots, I don't even have to swap batteries. I highly recommend this system for event work.

We fully charged these up, used them when we arrived at our destination for about 5 minutes while docking the boat. Upon arriving home we tried to use them when docking the boat but they were dead. The next time we used them I made absolutely certain that they were turned off but again when we got home they were dead. They have good sound and they are comfortable enough but they are totally useless due to the battery issue. Other people I have talked to said they had similar issues and Eartec sent them replacements and now they are fine. I just didn't want to have to go through the exchange/warranty process for a product I just bought. Also, these things are WAY overpriced. If I had it to do over I would get the UClear HBC100 plus with their Go Anywhere headset. We have them installed in our snowboard helmets and I can go two full seasons without having to charge them. They are awesome and they're about half the price of the Eartec.

these are GREAT - very clear sound, easy to use, comfortable. got to me VERY VERY fast, even with the labor day holiday weekend. i needed them for a job for that tue, 9/3 and got them in time. they were a godsend! i will recommend to anyone looking. and if i need more, i will order from KELLARDS again.
