The straps across the ankle and toe tend to irritate the skin. I suggest wearing socks or using some sort of padding

WHAT A DEAL
This is perfect it has really helped.

This boot is not helping me.
My podiatrist recommended I use this device. And I have been but I find it to be so uncomfortable -painful, I fact, that I can’t keep it on for more than a couple of hours at a time. After wearing it my foot actually hurts worse. I continue doing my stretching exercises but find I also have to take OTC pain meds.
