My preschool loves these books and music. I really have loved collecting several of these.

This beautiful book is so full of energy! There's so much to look at on every page and the illustrations are gorgeously done. I've already given it twice as a gift - once to a two year old and once to a three year old, both for birthdays. And, of course, my three year old is enchanted by our copy. We love the books to sing at this age - Down By the Station (by Will Hillenbrand) and Puff the Magic Dragon (by Peter Yarrow) are other faves.

I purchased this book after seeing the music video on youtube. It's a great book. Like all Barefoot Books series, the illustrations are amazing, the song is sung beautifully. It teaches musical instruments while being enjoyed so much by my little one. Perfect for in the care entertainment as well...

they read it in preschool. first i got if from library. but cd was all messed up as you can imagine. so now we have our own copy. I dont' have hardcover, but hopefully it will last. book is a book. great one and fun

This book has colorful illustrations that children seem to like. I use this with special ed students because they enjoy the music and singing more than a straight reading of a book. What I do not like about the book is the changes made to the lyrics. Some are ridiculous. There was no need to "fix" what was not broken!!
