Huge difference having the sock around it!
For years we had wanted to replace our hose for our home's built-in vac. When the original finally broke, we purchased this one. We love it, especially having the sock around the hose! Our original hose didn't have the sock on the hose, and it was always scrapping the paint off the baseboard. This one is much more gentle on baseboards. Seems to be solid construction.
