I have had a few travel adapters for trips overseas, but this one beats them all by far in comparison. The best aspect is that it has the plug and 2 USB ports for simultaneous charging. The dual USB ports is critical because it allows you to only bring the cords, but you can leave the adapters at home. This not only saves the headache or additional adapters, but you will then save space and weight for packing.I have used the adapter abroad for a full month with no issues. I left it plugged in the entire time and never experienced any issues. Since I have been back in the US, it has been plugged in all of the time since it eliminates the need of a power strip or additional accessories to charge my devices.If you are about to travel, this is a great adapter. It's compact size and multiple charging capabilities make it a steal and a huge asset to any traveler.The Tripshell adapter is the Swiss Army knife of adapters!

I researched world adapters for months before choosing this one. I had also considered the Skross, but this seemed to do the same thing, for a lower price. It has adapters for every country, and features TWO usb chargers. You can charge a laptop, ipad, and phone, all at the same time. Best of all, it has a bright blue light that tells you when it is on.The downside:This broke the first day of my trip, when the British adapter jammed. It never fixed, though I was able to jerry-rig it. I have not tried to replace it yet, so we'll see if the company stands behind it.

I went to Sweden with a stop over in London and I found this to be very useful. It was able to fit both the plug types without any issues. The ones in Sweden initially gave me a scare, because they have a round deep head and I thought this won't be long enough. It turned out that I was worrying for no reason. It was able to fit in very nicely.The USB ports are also a very nice addition since they save up 2 charging spots. The ports are very well built. The retracting feature makes it easy to transport without the fear of it snagging up anything.The only issue I found was that since these do not have ground, I could feel a little bit of current going through my laptop. It is only in trace amount and might not be for all the laptops.

I did not run into any problems using this charger. I even bought an extra plug just in case for Italy since they have three prong holes, but this charger worked fine in our hotel. Some people complained about a light, but it wasn't an issue for me. Most of the time, the plug was on the floor near the door, or behind a desk, so having a light wasn't a big deal since it wasn't visible. I especially liked that it had dual USB plugs and a regular AC charger. It does not convert, but I made sure that everything I took didn't need converting. I plugged in a mini iPad, an iPod Touch 4th generation, and my phone, which used the regular plug, and the charger held up to working with all 3 plugs at one time for the night. I'm not sure I'd do that on a regular basis all the time, but it was fine for the overnight charging since we weren't in the room much, and I really depended on being able to use one charger to handle all devices. This did the job, and was worth every penny. Also pretty compact, its a small box shape, and safely keeps all prongs inside it. Highly recommend for the Apple user.

This product ticks all the most important boxes in my mind. We have bought 4 of these and they have worked fabulously in the USA, Europe and the UK with our Australian appliances. Clearly printed, easy to use, no hissing high pitched sound like some others. Ability to use 2x USB ports AND appliance at the same time. Took a bit longer to charge our iPad Air but I would rather this than having to pay even more and/or increase the bulk of the adapter. Charged other USB devices well. Finally it also DOES accept 3 pin appliances (some adapters have depressions but in actuality only accept 2-pin devices which is deceptive. They were also slightly cheaper than a similar Swiss brand (item physically looked almost identical). The item might only be improved if it were smaller and/or charge USB devices faster. Would buy again

I was so excited to see this product on Amazon, and I ordered it in February or March in anticipation of a June trip to Europe. I was attracted to this because it had not only electrical ports, but also USB ports for iPhone and iPad charging. I ordered two, actually--one for my husband and one for myself. We left on June 28th and arrived in Vienna on June 29th. His blew out on the first evening when he tried to dry his hair. I kept mine and used it only for charging my telephone and/or iPad; it worked just fine for about 2 weeks. Two nights before we returned home mine also blew out when used with a hair dryer.When I returned home I looked to see if it was returnable to Amazon--and the time had expired. I spent about $40.00 total for the two items, and I will not invest in them again. They work fine when they work, but I don't know if they are fixable or not. Perhaps there is a way to replace a fuse--but there was no indication of such or instructions to do so. I purchased this item based on good reviews that I read; however, if you purchase it, use carefully! I gave this product 1 star.. While it does work well, the thing is pretty bulky, the light is extremely bright at night. While I was in Greece, I went to plug in my surge protector and it blew out the fuse in the product, tripped my surge protector, and tripped the circuit breaker in the room. It started working briefly after that but then died. I've maybe used it for a 4 days like that before it decided to sh*t the bed, metaphorically speaking. I will probably return this item as it doesn't work the way it should.
