VELOMicro Diamond Mid Grip Black 115mm VLG-410

I put these on a used specialized hotrock since the new ones also come with Kraton grips. Kraton is just a type of rubber that's supposed to be nice and well, grippy. The ones on a new Specialized Hotrock have a somewhat bigger or more pronounced diamond pattern compared to these. On these grips, the texture is much more subtle. Either way, these are great grips and look good on most bikes.I did notice these grips are a slight bit longer than the stock grips on the 20" specialized bikes. Therefore, if yours has hand brakes or a bell attached to the handlebars, you'll need to loosen it and move it about 1/2" when installing these. There is a shorter model available, but that model is much shorter than the stock grips.These went on well. I used a bit of water and tiny amount of diswashing soap to make them slide on easier. A day later, all that stuff is dried out and they stay put. A few days later, I decided to repaint the bike, and was able to remove them without tearing them up. I actually had to pry, roll, and pull them off the bike. I did so carefully, and didn't pull too hard, but these grips did remarkably well and this speaks to their durability.These are great grips and I recommend them if you need a replacement pair for your kid's bike. BTW, they do come in pairs, so for the price, it's a no-brainer.

I refinished a little 16" specialized hotrock bike for my daughter for Christmas and used these grips on it. The are great for the price and slid right on snugly. I didn't have to lube them up at all. The grip is nice and soft and easy on her hands and looks nice. They were slightly longer than the stock ones that were on there, but still fit fine on that small of a bike. I would definitely recommend!

Now my daughter will not be afraid to take her bike off of some sweet jumps.

Grips went on the bike smooth, and appear to be far superior to the stock grips.
