Waddell 2512 Round Taper Table Leg, 11-1/2"

We purchased these legs to put on a wood table we made. They were very sturdy and looked great with the table. It was nice to be able to stain the legs too.

I upgraded a cheap storage module with these and was very pleased with the result. I used one coat of Minwax "Provincial" to stain them and sprayed the metal feet with gold spray paint. They arrived ready to stain with no need to sand. I used a T plate to install them with no problems. I'll definitely be buying another set for a living room shelving unit I have.

We had a bench that needed legs and we wanted it to be more like a coffee table. We first tried mounting the legs to the bench but the threaded part is not long enough to make a good connection. After we added the brackets, we spray painted the legs with a cool gold color and now our coffee table has a great retro look!

Wooden part is well made. One of the four ordered arrived with the metal foot pieces detached and loose in the box. It appeared that the rivet in the center was not properly peened over and just fell off. I drilled a plot hole into the wood and reattached the foot pieces with a small wood screw. Worked out OK after all.

This is my third time purchasing these legs (second in this size) and they are perfect in this size. I’ve also used 24” legs like this but they are wobbly and unstable with a metal top plate. The 11 1/2 were perfect for the coffee tables I’ve built. I’m sure to purchase again!

Easy to install and love the thin tapered look of the leg. I like that the feet don’t scratch up the hardwood floors.I haven’t seen any weight limits on these legs so I’m hoping they hold up this upholstered chair in the long run. I do wish the 5/16 screw was longer.Update: Scooted my chair into my desk and the short screw bent and cracked the wood of my (very pricy) wayfair chair. Now the leg is bent inwards while the rest sit straight. It feels like it'll cave in at any second and I'll end up on the floor. Going to return these. Please caution that these are not meant for heavy objects.

These worked great for my little project. I was able to stain them to match.

To clarify, leg itself is fine, beautiful. I bought it because the description said 9" length. It is actually 11.5" long.
