GT3000 Professional-Grade Advanced Air Purification System by GreenTech Environmental

I've owned tons of air purifiers both of the ionic type and just regular hepa filter types. None even come close to the GT3000!. This product is built to last, aesthetically pleasing and simple to use. I'm a Chiropractic student in Georgia right now and currently live in a 800sqft apartment and with our philosophy of health and well being this product is a perfect match! I remember going to my Aunt's house years ago and she had a similar unit in her home. I would always wonder why it smelled so FRESH and CLEAN in her home. Now i realize she had a similar product that cleans NO purifies the air completely. The smell is that of that unmistakable fresh smell just after a thunderstorm is the best way i can describe it. I've also been suffering with chronic dry itchy and red eyes and after only 3 days of running the GT3000 those symptoms are completely gone! Unbelievable, that chronic allergy problem was getting on my last nerve and I gladly would of paid $1000 to get rid of it. When I have company come over they walk in and I can see them immediately take a huge whiff of air and sigh and say "what is that amazingly fresh smell"? And of course then we have a discussion about the GT3000 and they are amazed that this small little unit on top of my fridge is responsible. We had to go to a motel due to mold/odor issues leaking through the walls from another apt unit - they had left town with food in the frig and forgot to pay their utility bill. Their electricity had been shut off and the bad odor was the first alert the manager had that there was a problem. The mgt carried out the frig closed and disposed of it and then proceeded to clean that apt...but the odor was still in between the walls. After 10 days (we left to live in motel) of the apt mgt using chemicals to kill/mask the odor in our apt and requiring us to leave windows open with air on to increase air and this did not do the trick...we ordered this unit due to it taking care of bacteria, mold, mildew, fungus AND it stating that it permeated into the walls (our problem). We ran it on low for 24 hours as the manual stated to do and then set it for the size of our apt unit and the odors were gone the next day after that! Our place has never smelled this great! Definitely would recommend it. A bit pricey, but saved us from having to move to a new place when we really didn't want to which would have cost us ALOT more time and money. The management kept doing more of the same thing and it just kept giving the same bad results. We decided to do something different and to purchase this unit and got REALLY GOOD RESULTS.

The unit works great but it is quite expensive, especially since in less than a year of having it the fan blades began to shift and makes a terrible noise. I called and they asked us to send it back at our own expense as opposed to just replacing the unit. I love the clean smell it leaves but it certainly is not for 3500 sqft. you need 2 units to cover that size area. They need a longer warranty on the units, better customer service or lower the price.

Keeps the air in our home really fresh. Really does remove odors. We have one on each level of our large three level home, we run them on a lower setting. We have four cats and a dog - but people don't know that unless we tell them! Running on high or away mode will generate an ozone smell while super-cleaning the air, but we don't use that very often, and the ozone smell doesn't last long once a lower setting is used.

Made my house smell like wet dog & I don't have a dog. It actually made me sick using it.

I like the purifier and can tell that it is doing what I want it to, but I don't like the Ozone smell. I now keep the fan on low so that the smell isn't too bad. I thought I could light a scented candle to help with the smell, but realized it purifies everything in the air, so now I can't smell the candles either. That's discouraging. If it could run without the smell, I would have given it 5 stars.
