I gave these protective 3 stars because they're made to fit a small woman and no size is indicated. I made them big enough to fit husband by filling a plastic soda bottle with hottest water from tap, pulling sleeve over the bottle and then submersing it all in hot water for 10 minutes. Remove bottle from water with sleeve. Let it dry for at least 24 hours. Remove sleeve. Now it fits his arm just fine! Now a 5 star product!

I am not happy with them because they are so thick, itchy, and hot. I thought they would be thinner and more comfortable

They fit me (woman) and they are snug enough that I think fitting a man would be unlikely. They are thick and stiff, and not comfortable., but am hoping these characteristics result in protecting my arms from cuts.

I have thin skin that easily bleeds from contact. Volunteer at food bank and many skin injuries from normal use. Got these and they are protecting my arms. No more split skin or welts. They fit snug and are tough. Just like kevlar. Arms happy now. Update 11/23/20. Since using these at food bank I have NOT had single skin tear or blood bruise. These are so great. I'll admit can make skin itchy but small price to pay for such protection

I purchased this because I have very thin skin and a new puppy who grabs onto my arms when we play. She was constantly tearing my skin. These covers are perfect. They are thick enough that her claws don’t go through. However, in hindsight, I wish I had ordered gloves too. I gave a low rating in warmth because I didn’t notice any difference and didn’t purchase them for warmth.

These are great. Husband uses them so the dog does not scratch him.

These sleeves are definitely thick and tough, which I need, but they are also quite short. I have a 35" sleeve length and when pulled to the elbow they are about 3" above my wrist. Work gloves make up the space, but it would be better if about 2"-3" longer.

I take a blood thinner and these keep me from getting hurt when doing work. My forearms looked like I had been in a battle. Now they are back to normal with only a few bruises. I bought a second pair so that I could send one to the was and use the second.
