The dulcimer looks great, and is very well crafted. The packaging was was nice, too. I was so surprised with how quickly it shipped! I would recommend this vender/product. It is going to be a birthday gift for my husband, who loves playing guitar. I hope he will be pleasantly surprised with this nicely made dulcimer. Bonus: it looks even better in person than the pictures!

This dulcimer is well constructed and it was packed well for shipping (lots of bubble wrap, was not moving around in box). And of course, it looks beautiful and sounds amazing. It has a soothing sound and is easy on the ears. I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend (who plays guitar and other instruments but has never tried a dulcimer) and he loved it. I did not want to buy a super expensive dulcimer right off the bat but this one seems like a great value for the price point. I am not an expert in what makes an amazing dulcimer or how this one sounds compared to others/more expensive ones, but for beginners at least this is an excellent choice. I definitely recommend this dulcimer if you are looking for one!

I have read that in dulcimers, you get what you pay for, and this is a lower end price for dulcimers. I did not want to pay top dollar because it's my first experience with a dulcimer and I want to be sure I'll love it before paying more.What sold me on this one is the notches for traditional 3 strings (with the melody strings close together) or for equidistant strings. My only hesitancy was the lower price and the low number of reviews.I have been very pleased with the sound on this dulcimer. I can't compare how it sounds with higher priced instruments, but I find it lovely, and I am very glad I bought it.

I don't write many reviews, but since this arrived in well packaged, and intact I decided to give a 5 star. It came is it's own box with a neat handle. I almost opted to use the box rather than a case. It was pack neatly and safely in another outter box for shipping. It scares me to buy instruments online since the carriers tend to bang my boxes around, but this one was ok.It plays really nice after post shipment tuning. It's light weight, but really constructed well.Hope this helps anyone deciding to purchased one.

I like the hourglass design and the wood used for this instrument. Sound quality very good. Using this itemfor personal enjoyment

This was my very first Dulcimer. I love it... when I got it, I had never picked up a Dulcimer before and had no idea what to do. One year later, I am playing beautiful Christmas Carols. This is a wonderful instrument and a great value for the money.

A very bright sounding instrument with great craftsmanship. Everything from the mechanical tuning pegs to the finish on the wood is wonderful. On top of that it also has optional equidistant string spacing (not listed in the product description, very good for playing more modern music.) It also keeps its tune for a really really long time.
