TEKTON Ball End Hex Key Wrench Set, 13-Piece (1.27-10 mm) | 25272

I had a Craftsman set that rounded the ends, exchanged them at lowes for new craftsman and they were terrible. Got on Amazon and looked and these Tektons are highly rated, they are also $3 cheaper than the Craftsman. Wow are they better. They are not as bendy even on the smaller 1.5mm and so far they have held up well to the use I have put them to (building a treadmill and adjusting my 3d printer) and still look brand new. And best of all? they have a lifetime warranty that you can email or call them on if you need service. Better than having to go into a store if you have a failure. Great tools, Great price. And easy service.

Disclaimer: I am mechanically inept. I know little about tools. I probably use a screwdriver or hex wrench or something similar two or three times a year at most. With those disclaimers in place, I like these little hex wrenches a lot! Granted, I've only used them twice in the year I've owned them: once to repair a cat perch, and once to disassemble the front of my dishwasher. No tricky angles were involved so a regular hex wrench would've sufficed, though I hear the ball head is nice for tricky angles. Anyway, the thing I like about these is that there are a lot of different sizes (I got the 13-piece set) so it was very easy to find one to fit my different needs. I also like the case and how it folds up, making it very compact for storage. The pieces slide in and out very easily, and it's a lot nicer to keep this one set around than to try to keep up with the various cheapie hex wrenches that come in the assemble-it-yourself household items I've collected over the year.

I got tired of running out to the garage to get the metric hex keys (Allen wrenches) every time I needed one for the European air guns. So I ordered these and they are very nice. The ball end is really handy whether you are working on a Russian Ural or an English rifle. Of curse if you plan on exerting maximum torque they are more likely to slip and wear. So if you want to really tighten something to the max, use the short end. The holder is very nice. It opens to allow easier access to the small keys. But unlike some it does not flop around. Clicks shut. The keys seem to be tempered well with no unusual signs of wear but, I haven't had them long enough to be sure of course. In my opinion they are well worth the price.

This is a great product. I didn't buy the cheapest set of Metric Allen Wrenches because I wanted to see how the "ball end" version works. My first use was to adjust the VESA Mounts on a multi-monitor display stand that tends to hold monitors in a static, non-movable mount. I had already tried several "freebie in the product box" allen wrenches and none of them seemed to fit. However, because of the position of the actul bolt, I wasn't certain I was getting the Allen Wrenches properly aligned. This product solves the alignment problem. Place it in the bolt head area, wiggle it around and it falls into place (if you have the proper size). I was able to loosen every over-tightened bolt with the low-torque ball end without any issue. The set feels weighty with a decent organizer, although I doubt the "hanging loop" will last very long, so I store this in my tool chest.

These sit in my toolbox next to a USA-made set of genuine Allen-brand wrenches. If you compare them, the Allen wrenches are better made -- the edges of each wrench are sharper and better machined, and you can see and feel the difference. In actual use, though, these Tekton wrenches work pretty well and they're less expensive. Which is sort of the point ... if you only want the best, these probably aren't for you. If you want "good enough" at a good price -- or an extra set that you're not afraid to lose or break -- these will do the job.

I picked this Allen wrench set up to put in the tool bag on my motorcycle. I have used them several times, and they are working great. They appear to be a high quality wrench. The angled end of the wrench makes it very easy to come into the Allen screw head from an angle, and it holds firm. Nice and long on the longer side, so they can reach into tight spaces. I highly recommend this set.

The hex keys feel super sturdy and have the perfect balance of leverage and size. The hexes have enough leverage to get the most stuck pedals off my bike and are still small enough to get into the smaller areas. The metal feels very durable, and the case makes it pretty easy to get the hex keys in and out. I also like the ball ends, as they make it easier to get in tighter spaces, but they make it easier to strip a bolt. Definitely worth the ten or so dollars, and they are holding up great after a couple months of use.

Für mich der beste Kauf seit langem. Alle gängigen Größen dabei, praktisch ist vor allem die untere Seite mit den Kugelköpfen in der jeweiligen Größe … damit kann man auch schräg bei schwer zu gängigen Schrauben arbeiten. Dazu stabil/robust und alles in einer Halterung untergebracht. Für mich 5⭐️

Dans ma caisse à outils de tous les jours pour mes intervention sur les flippers (où toute la visserie est en visserie US). Mixte boule et droit, la sélection de dimensions est parfaitement adaptée, car pour les empreintes hexagonales, on est parfois coincés quand on a que du métrique. Même pour une utilisation professionnelle, elles conviennent parfaitement.

Son las que mas uso para ajustes en mi bicicleta y moto, son las de batalla, la del no. 6 ya se me doblo de la punta por una mala conminación de presión y posición, no esperaba más por el precio que pague. Las volveria a comprar.
