Awesome tool in the kitchen!!
We’ve had this pair of scissors/ herb / greens cutters for several years and it’s still great!! Super helpful and easy to use, easy to clean. It’s become a staple in our kitchen! FYI… works great if you don’t try to overload what you’re trying to cut at one time, just use smaller portions and it’s a quick breeze. Also, remember to use the cap/ lid to slide in the middle of it to get all pieces of herbs (or greens etc) out! You’ll have to do it a few times over if cutting a good bit, then that’s also useful when you’re cleaning it out when done. Have fun!!

Amazingly effective
Wow, I love these scissors. I have tried various ways to chop herbs, from bruising and smooshing them in a food processor, using a froggie and a cutting board with a small bowl cut out of it, those rolling herb things that look like multiple pizza wheels, with a knife and still, I never achieved that even cut that looks so good when sprinkling a hand full of parsley or cilantro over a meal. Enter the RSVP herb scissors. I love these, they make short work of herbs, fingers- yes, they are sharp and I am clutzy, so I use a glove that prevents scissors from slicing through my fingers when I use these scissors. However, they make amazingly short work of chopping chives, green onions, herbs.. they are terrific!

Kinda cool.
Used it to chop up ground beef being browned, worked good! The little grooves for cleaning out the blades are maybe a bit two wide. I know if they were thinner they would be more delicate, but they would also be easier to fit in between the blades. I haven't actually used them for herbs yet, but seeing how they worked well on the beef, I'm sure they'll be great herb scissors! They are extremely sharp! Review update: They're less gimmicky and more useful then they at first seemed, from chopping up ground beef while browning it (hate large chunks) to making jelly less chunky or any soupy substance they work great! I bought them at first because I thought they looked cool and figured I couldn't go wrong having scissors with extra blades, cause, there's more. But they are a nice thing to have!

nifty little kitchen gadget
I bought these b/c I was tired of cutting basil by hand. Now I use them for lots of herbs, green onions, etc. They're very handy and make light work out of chopping up a bunch of herbs. Much easier than a knife or regular pair of scissors. Several reviews mentioned that the blades were hard to clean. However, the end of the green plastic cover is shaped so you can slide it right between the blade to push out any leaves that don't fall out on their own. As long as you rinse the shears under water as soon as you're done cutting smaller pieces won't have time to dry out and get stuck between the blades. I would definitely recommend these as one of the more useful and practical kitchen gadgets out there!

It does work!
I have mixed feelings about these scissors. I do get tired of the tedious and often time-consuming task of chopping fresh herbs. These scissors do a pretty good job of getting through a large amount of herbs but there are a few drawbacks with the design. They come with a cleaning tool to unclog the herbs from between the blades, which you often need to use three or four times per use for a single bunch of herbs, like parsley. This can make the process a bit messy. Also, it does not chop herbs very evenly if you are trying to make it a fast task. Sometimes you have to go back into the chopped pile and grab some of the larger pieces so you can recut them. All of these things can be a bit annoying, but I still don't think it is as annoying as chopping them by hand. Unless prepping herbs the old-fashioned way with a knife and cutting board does not bother you, you might still give these scissors a try. I am still working on a way to make these easy to use and will update my review if I come up with any tricks.

Good concept product but not perfect
These herb scissors are the first and only her scissors that I have ever owned so I do not have much to compare them to. I do however find that they are convenient when I have to chop up large amounts of herbs relatively quickly. By relatively quickly, I mean I do not want to spend hours in the kitchen chopping herbs. I do not have the fancy knives that professional chefs have and it seems to take me forever to mince herbs using a regular knife. Well, any idiot can operate scissors! Hallelujah! If anyone else has a hard time chopping herbs and they do not require a super fine mince, I would recommend these as a great time saving tool. Thumbs up to amazon for helping me find a product this useful. I also like that it comes with a handy tool that doubles as a cleaner for the scissors and a holder for the scissors while not in use but I suppose now I am just gushing and I don't want to bore anyone. All in all, these scissors are a great addition to anyone who wants to save some time in the kitchen and I think that is pretty much everyone!

Great tool and cleaning device
I love to use fresh herbs in all my cooking. These scissors really do the job. They are sharp, easy to use and very easy to clean out the blades using the forked end of the sheath cover - do NOT discard this sheath cover! Other people mention it's difficult to clean between the blades, but no problem with this cleaning device. I recently used for scallions (I recommend only cutting 2-3 scallion tops at one time) and cilantro. You cut right over the bowl or pan, cut, and the job's done! This is a must for anyone who either has an herb garden and/or enjoys cooking and wants to save time.

Works like a champ
I love it when a product lives up to my expectations. This stainless steel scissor works amazing. It came today and I chopped up a bunch of basil, both wet and dry. On the wet basil, it did stick between the blades, but the blade cover has prongs that you just slide between the blades to pull out whatever is caught there, and it worked perfectly. It made fast work of a pile of basil that would have taken me much longer to cut with a knife or single pair of scissors. I use a lot of fresh herbs and this is going to make prep work so much quicker.
