I bought this accidentally mistaking it for 180/100 grit. This 80 grit is strong! Do not use this on clients natural nails. Although this wasn’t the file I needed I found myself gaining a lot of use out of these. I do polygel for my clients and I use these files to take the bulk off and even out the structure of my application. This works great and cut my filing time in half because I always hand file. When I do use these though, I have to buff away the edges of the file to avoid cutting myself and my clients. This thing is sharp! Compared to other nail files, these have lasted me the longest. Doesnt get flimsy! I bought these last month and I would normally go through 10 like nothing. But with these I’ve only used 3. It’s great for shaping as well since it’s so solid. Your lines will be straight! Just please be careful and do not run against the skin or the natural nail.

80/80 IS PERFECT FOR ACRLYIC NAILS. For beginners nail techs or just casual users: the lower the file number, the harder or more coarse the file. This filed the acrylic down w no problem. Could be used on reg/natural nails too but just be careful. You may harm your nails or your cuticle line if you go too hard bc its meant to break through harder material than natural nails. 100/180 range is more suitable for casual, regular nail usage.

I've been doing my own dip nails and sometimes the old fashion monoacrylic powder since we have had the COVID-19 closure. This grit takes down the old nail really fast, and cleans up a new nail quickly. Makes doing my nails a breeze. Plus you can wash these files and sterlize them.

Great file gets in good and both side are course just how I like it .my nail shapes are fabulous because of this file.and the price is great.

Love these files. Grit is what it says. They are made very well. I can use multiple times and disinfect without ruining file. Very thick. Does not fold or bend when I file on acrylic nails

Dang good files for shaping acrylic nails . Very course and sturdy ..

My go to files . Sturdy if using on yourself they definitely can go more than one set. I’ve also even washed a few and they still worked after being submerged into water and soap. I love love love
