I was asked but I would have to say they don't have any flavor. I swallow them whole. I have a problem with iron. I take it twice daily. It can really bother my stomach so I was taking another brand for years but they are packed so you have to remove each one from a plastic bubble and it really got to be annoying. So I looked around and decided to try these. I am more than pleased. They work as well as the other kind I was taking and I don't have to remove them from some uncooperative plastic bubble thingy and no upset tummy either. Great product.

I was taking Slo Fe because they work without giving me extremely smelly gas all day. However, the packaging itself was enough to make me find another brand. These are easy to get to and great for prefilling my weekly meds box. They work great with no side effects whatsoever and for a cheaper cost! I will be ordering them from now on!UPDATE: They work TOO well! LOL I've been taking these for 2 years now and my iron levels are great despite having a ferritin deficiency, but my red blood cells count is too high now. No worries, I just half these pills with a pill cutter.

Was using SloFe. Very expensive and the individual packaging was horrible! These are a great price and appear to be just as good as the name brand because my doctor is very happy w/ my bloodwork.

Have used these for the past 3 weeks with no upset stomach or constipation. I previously bought a really great brand that I use for many other supplements that said it was gentle iron instead of slow iron. Those make me slightly nauseous with tummy upset and constipated. So far these have worked exactly like promised and the price was awesome for a 3 pack. For sure ordering again.

I have to take three of these a day due to severe anemia. It has a bit of flavor but not at all unpleasant. The pills are small and easy to swallow. Although they are "slow release" they do, er, "disrupt" my GI tract a bit. As I noted earlier I am taking three times the dosage on the bottle at the direction of my doctor. By taking these pills my blood levels of iron have returned to normal. I think they are also a great value given the important functions they restore.

Personally I like these pills, at least the quantity to cost since I was buying the CVS generic brand that cost $20 for 30 tablets and these have more milligrams. The downside for me is the metallic taste I have in my mouth, it's awful. I'm sure it's a chemistry thing, they just don't mix well with me, but otherwise I'd recommend them.

A must have for individuals who need to ensure that their iron levels are sufficient.
