Tastes really good
This is pretty good. It does taste like tea and a cookie, what the British people call biscuits, but it's subtle and not overwhelming.

My new daily tea
Here is what you need to know: this tea tastes great. I make it in the afternoon to get me through the slump during the work day. It smells delicious and goes down smooth. I take a bit of milk in mine to make it a treat. I have dunked Biscoff cookies in it: recursive since that is the basic flavor of the biscuit brew already. This tea isn't the least bit bitter - it is on the sweet side with a great aroma. The other things you should know: the tea comes in the cardboard box in a thin silvery wrapper -- the tea bags are not individually wrapped. I put them in a sealed container for longevity. The only real downside to this tea is it leaves a brown stain in my mugs. All tea does that to some extent, but this is substantially darker. I am compelled to scrub the mugs rather than just put them in the dishwasher. This is a good value - there are many in the box and the price was good for that many. There is definitely a nice caffeine kick to them. The packaging claims the tea bags are compostable, so that is a huge plus! They go right into the compost bin without fussing around to rip them open and separate out the tea from the bag.

My FAVORITE TEA EVER!
This is genuinely my FAVORITE TEA EVER! I love the flavor & it tastes good for a bagged tea. I would love if they put this out as loose leaf tea! I also wish it went on sale every once in a while. I know the prices in the UK go this can be as low as $2.70 for a box but here it’s $7 but I can’t stop buying it because I love it so much!

This is absolutely delicious -see edit please
(Disclaimer: I am not British and don’t know much about English tea culture.) I absolutely adore the lineup offered by Taylors of Harrogate, and when I saw this (biscuit brew), I was curious and wanted to try it. So glad I did! It’s a touch more astringent than the Yorkshire Gold or Yorkshire Red blends, but it’s got a delicious shortbread cookie taste that isn’t overpowering. Since tea has no rules, I decided to make it with a splash of homemade vanilla extract and a couple lumps of brown sugar, topping it off with some French vanilla creamer. Do yourself a favor and try it yourself!! Edit- out of curiosity I decided to try the caramelized biscuit brew version, since I thoroughly enjoyed the regular biscuit brew. I won’t say that it is bad, because it’s not, but it’s got a strange artificial cinnamon taste that I wasn’t expecting. I don’t care for it and won’t purchase it again, and I will probably give this box to someone else to enjoy. Biscuit Brew is a delicious yes, Caramelized Biscuit Brew is a definite no. No stars deducted because it’s a matter of taste preference and not quality.

No caramel or biscuit flavour detected
Firstly, I must admit I don't drink as much tea as I used to, but in my younger days we imbibed on Tetley and Swee-Touch-Nee (a blend of black and orange pekoe). I started off trying the caramel biscuit brew as I love caramel/toffee etc... Big disappointment...only had a slight tingle of what I will call cloves...no caramel. I even added cream and sugar to no avail. Next I tried the Yorkshire Gold. I liked its robust flavour and that I could get 2 cups out of it. I only used a small amount of cream in it since I don't usually like sugar/sweetness added to my hot coffee or tea. Then I tried the red Yorkshire. Nice but not as bold as the gold. Lastly I am trying the malty biscuit and alas, like the other biscuit brew, I am disappointed--even added cream and sugar but no discernible flavour addition to the base tea detected. Though I didn't detect malty biscuit, I do prefer this one to the caramelized biscuit one since there was no clove aftertaste. I detest heavy clove but do enjoy cinnamon notes or cardamom or ginger, nutmeg etc... I do not smoke nor do I eat spicy foods and I have somewhat "super taster" taste buds, so the fact I couldn't detect any real flavour as to the advertised ones was a major disappointment. My favorite was the Yorkshire Gold, followed by Yorkshire (red), Malty Biscuit, Caramelized biscuit. I would not even bother buying either of the biscuit ones in the future, but I definitely may purchase the Yorkshire gold...it twanged my buds, lol. Bottom line: If you haven't tried any of these teas but want to before you invest in a whole box of one flavour, this is a great way to sample 4 different kinds. That way you aren't stuck with a whole box of a disappointing brew. UPDATE: I ended up buying a 200 count box of individually wrapped tea bags in the Yorkshire Gold flavour and am not disappointed in the least! 😋🫖💜 it was worth trying the sampler to be able to know which ones I liked and which ones I disliked. I really like the individually wrapped tea bags as they stay fresh longer, as opposed to the Yorkshire Decaf I bought which is 2 attached square tea bags all in a bunch in a box.
