I bought it for repairing....
The sink waste pipe needed to be cut and have a compression pipe fitted so i could hook up the washing machine, this was a perfect fit for the job and saved me having to rip the cupboards apart trying to replace the whole length.Used a hacksaw and some duct tape to ensure seal was good as the washing machine would be backed onto the fitting and inaccessible until i pull out the washing machine again (whos got time for that eh....)Would recommend.
