Blue Ocean 30" RHKE3 Stainless Steel Wall Mount Kitchen Range Hood | 760 CFM | LED Lights | PRO PERFORMANCE | LED Touch Panel w/Digital Clock | Ducted/Ductless Convertible Duct

Just installed this in my kitchen. I did not use their ducts. I installed a smooth metal duct that runs to the exterior wall and ventilates to the outside. The installation was pretty simple. I can see that some people may find the instructions lacking, but if you have a feel for installing a hood, this one is simple. Now for the product:The Good: The design is clean, and the touchscreen face works well. The fan seems to do a good job, and I did not find the fan any noisier than any other fan I've used in the past. It seemed an average amount of noise for an exhaust fan. It may be noisier if you recirculate the air back into the room, but I exhausted the air outside. The fan has three speeds, and the lights have their own switch. The grease filters are easily accessible and can be removed for cleaning in the dishwasher.The Bad: The grease filters are a little bit lightweight (easily bent) and loose fitting. It's not that bad, but you can tell those parts are not premium quality. The lights are 2 LEDs that are very blue tinted (they are probably 5-6000k LEDs). The hood would be much better with warmer lights and 4 lights instead of 2. The fan seems to draw air well, but I expected more pronounced audible suction from a 600CFM fan. I have not checked the actual cfm, so it may just be that I expected it to be louder. I'll know more after I check some of the surrounding cabinet surfaces over the coming months for any grease that didn't make it up the hood. The clock and digital functions are odd, and the instructions are minimal. For using the fan and lights it's pretty simple. Supposedly you can set the fan to automatically turn off after a certain amount of time, but I couldn't figure it out. All it did for me was screw up the clock (which by the way is only working in 24 hour mode - I can't figure out how to change to 12 hour mode.).So far so good for this hood. I couldn't beat the discount price from the Amazon Warehouse, so in that sense it's a real bargain.

It looks great but the directions are so useless its not funny, ok maybe its funny because its obviously written by someone whose first language was not English. If you know basically how range hoods need to be installed then you will be fine. I had to contact the manufacturer through Amazon and they responded fast. Haven't received my damage part replacement yet but its coming!

It is a nice product, I like it a lot more than another one purchased previously that did not work as expected. Noise level is expected with all these kind of products unless you a purchase a high expensive one. But perfect For us and nice appeal.

Its a good hood, however at max speed s very noise and it came with 3 of the led burner.Install was easy just to hold on drywall by the stud

Unfortunately I did not get a chance to install it as it came damaged.

This fan has incorrect install instructions. I’m addition, the clock only keep military time!Poor quality.

Very nice unit, 3 speeds for the fan, easy to install but the lighting is very poor. There are 2 led lights to the front, unless you have the lights off in the kitchen you can't even tell they are on, more like mood lighting. That is my reason for 4 stars.

This was super easy to install we love it

As advertised no real good instruction for install how ever if doing this install your self you should have some common sense if you don't have patients and some natural mechanical aptitude hire some one who does!
