Q: How long after painting must one wait before filling the pool?

I live in an area where a hot day is about 70-75 degrees . After painting my pond, (2 coats) I waited 7 days before putting water in it. NO PROBLEMS..

Q: Can I use this paint in my above ground vinyl pool?

Hello, this paint should not be applied to vinyl.

Q: Can these colors be mixed? Was wanting to soften the Ocean Blue by blending it 50-50 with the white, to make it a more powdery blue.

Mixed INSL X waterborne acrylic 1 gallon White with 1 gallon Royal Blue. I had originally ordered Ocean Blue but they sent Royal instead . I decided to order the White to match Ocean, but the mixture is darker but beautiful. The 2 gallons was applied for only one coat on a 24,000 gallon pool. Some spots were not covered but once filled it will look great. Manufacturer recommends 2 coats, but the underlying paint was still in good condition after 11 years! The color usually fades much faster. The video is after one day of refilling pool, appr 1/3 filled. Easy to apply with roller about 3 1/2 hrs. Manufacturer also confirmed paint can be mixed. It also can be tinted with up to 2oz of universal glycol colorant. HD may be able to do this. Mixing Ocean with White will work . Be sure to mix thoroughly
