Hello, Day!

This book is as simple as it gets in terms of learning animal sounds and because of this it is perfect. The story start with a simple introduction and then each page has an illustration of an animal and the sound that it makes. The story closes by basically saying that each animal has its own way of saying hello by making their own sound. It is concluded by including an owl's sound and then saying good night.My kids are ready with the animal noises as I turn each page, we have a lot of fun with it.

This is my favorite animal related story to read with my children (ages 4 and 1.5 yrs. old). The pictures are beautiful and the words are simple...perfect for a young child. The kids have a great time chiming in with the animal sounds, which definitely adds fun to the reading experience!

It's nice to have a simple book, that's not a bedtime story, to read to my 11-month old twins as part of our morning routine. They're drawn to the colorful pictures and enjoy listening to mommy makes silly animal sounds. The illustrations are a bit more realistic than other farm animal books (the cow doesn't have black and white spots, and the pig isn't pink, for example), which is a good thing. Shipping was timely and the book (used) was in good shape with clean pages. Recommended.
