This is a sculpture as much as a water jug, a perfect cut away cylinder and a truly delightful object. If you're trying to decide between the smaller and larger version, buy the larger. The smaller has a capacity of only about 750 ml, although it looks much bigger. The larger manages 1000 ml, which is much more useful (we bought the smaller, then bought for the larger later).

This is a nice jug (I don't like the word 'pitcher') and the reason for the low star review is that the jug I received was scratched.
