The only experience I've had with crepes was as a child at grandmas. She made blintzes every year when we came to visit. Sweet cottage and ricotta cheese in a sweet crepe with strawberry jam on top. Crepes are a dish I haven't made much at all in my many years of cooking, mostly because I haven't quite known exactly how to do them. Whether you want a meal or dessert, and if you want rolled crepes or ones shaped like triangles (didn't know you could shape them like this), this book is extremely user friendly for tackling this dish with confidence.So now, guess what I'm going to fix for dinner? :)

Being of French descent, I always have a stack of crepes in my fridge. In our home we use them as Mexicans use tortillas, so I keep them handy for wrapping fillings.I was pleased to find this book and the many filling recipes it contains. We already made the mushroom filling and the chicken meat filling yesterday and they were excellent.If you are new to crepe making, the pictures are very good and directions are easy to follow. All in all, an excellent guide to making and filling crepes. Recommended

I have always wanted to learn how to make my own crepes. I've always enjoyed them at restaurants but have been apprehensive to try them at home. Oksana Vitruk does a great job breaking down the process into simple steps to make it seem much easier to make them. She includes a variety of different recipes for the crepes themselves as well as a variety of fillings. She includes very detailed pictures and well written instructions to help anyone get on the path of making delicious crepes in no time.

If you are looking for a series of well written cookbooks, take a look at the Famous Ukrainian Recipes series which the crepes cookbook is part of. I have yet to find another cookbook that is as well structured, well written, beautifully illustrated and delivers authentic recipes. In this particular volume you find 3 basic batter recipes, lots of sweet and savory fillings, detailed preparation instructions. Any crepe lover will be delighted with this cookbook.

This is really a terrific book on crepe-making. It has three different recipes for crepe batter and different ways to mix them up. On top of that there are lots of intriguing fillings to put in those crepes. Imagine a Poppy seed filling. Sounds delicious, doesn't it?Oksana Vitruk sure has produced a lot of great cookbooks, but I think this one might be her best yet.

Not only how to make 'em but also so many different ways to eat them, with sweet or savoury fillings.The book is well written and beautifully illustrated, and I'd like to add my favourite; Ice Cream Pan-cakes.Just roll up a lump of ice cream in a warm pan-cake, squeeze some lemon over a sugared top, and eat quickly.

If you like pancakes, you are just going to want every single recipe that is in this book. It was a case of, sheer want, on every page I turned. I loved the different ingredients which I had never thought of using and also loved the way that the pancakes were decorated and and and ... just get it. It's the best. :)

Great book of varied recipes that will definitely tantalise any tastebuds. I was really surprised at the variety of things you can do with crepes. I guess I need a little more imagination in the kitchen! Books like this are a greta help to bring a bit more variety into my repertoire.

And this book will fuel my addiction, definitely. The author gives extremely good instructions on how to make a flawless crepe--however you prefer them: with sugar or none, with less milk, less flour--you get the picture. The one thing they share in common is they are all very easy to make and will definitely get you raves for being such a good cook. Guess what we're having for breakfast tomorrow.....and maybe lunch...and supper!
