I bought these glove because I used it at someone house to get hot bowls out of microwave after food was heated up. I thought its nice to have. It has grub and it won't slip. I was thinking about getting one for my mom and sister.

I remember watching a fellow on Youtube who had a cooking channel called "Dave Can Cook". He had a pair of heat resistant oven gloves, and remember thinking, "Man those things look awesome! I would love to have some of those!" Then, I was offered these gloves for a reduced price for my honest and unbiased review so naturally, I couldn't pass that opportunity up. They work great for grabbing hot items out of the oven. Honestly, that's all I have used them for thus far. And for that, they work awesome. I can definitely see a multitude of other uses for them though.The only complaint I have is that the side of the thumb does not seem to be insulated as well as the rest of the glove. I was holding a piping hot Pyrex pan and my thumb kind of rolled to the side and after about 10 seconds, I definitely started to feel the heat big time. It is somewhat inconvenient to put a glove on when I want to grab something out of the oven after years of just having a pot holder next to the oven that I could just pick up and grab a pan out of the oven. That certainly won't stop me from using these gloves though. The heat resistance is awesome (with the exception of the thumb incident of course) and the gripper strips definitely are a plus for grabbing glass pans. This is a perfect gift for the chef in your family!

Ok the one thing I was not crazy about was the rubbery stuff was only on 1 side .so there really is a Right and a Left but one thing that they advertise is this it is super impressive !! ** **Our promise! I received my package on time and with no damage to packaging. I have never used a pair of oven gloves before so I was very excited to see how they would work. I have a 9 and 10 yr old who love helping in the kitchen. I am always nervous about them getting anything out of the oven even with a pot holder or a kitchen towel. Worried they wont position it right and burn themselves and a burn hurts so bad even if just a small tiny place on the skin. I tried the Super Strong Anpoze Oven Glove out for myself before I even let the kids know I had gotten them. I tried them the first night while baking a meatloaf (which is heavy) and I was very careful just because getting a meatloaf out of the oven is heavy and if these gloves were going to work this was the perfect test. And TADAAAA perfect. Of coarse still will not be letting my kids get heavy meats and things out of the oven right now, however breads, cookies etc will be perfect for them. And it was. they were excited that I now "trusted" them to let them help me out even with the oven now. These are fantastic! I am sure they work great for indoor use but we have chosen to keep these as our outdoor pair. We camp a lot and have a fire pit in our backyard. With these on, we can maneuver wood and adjust the fly away coals. We had previously been using 'work gloves' - the typical kind that construction workers might wear; tough, leathery. They did the job protecting from heat, however, these gloves add far more flexibility to your fingertips, while protecting from the heat. These are perfect for adjusting baked potatoes wrapped in foil in the fire! Experienced campers know of what I speak.Given the fact that we have used these with open flame, I see no reason why they would not be great for indoor oven use.Every camping family should have a pair of these in their RV.I was given the opportunity to test and try this product - 100% recommend based on quality and performance.

Every home should own a pair of Oven Gloves as well as Silicone Gloves, If I had these when I was younger I would have been able to avoid the multiple burns I seem to get when getting things out of the oven. Now anytime I need to get something out of the hot oven, I make sure to have my gloves on. As well as when I remove hot bowls or plates from the microwave. These are great to even use when you have trouble opening those jars or bottles. The silicone grippers help hold the jar while you use your other hand to open it.
