Best sounding mini humbucker I've played
Best sounding mini humbucker I've played. I have this in a SSS Fender strat and it's now like a HSS. Wonderful sound—great pickup.

Entregado sin demoras, el sonido de esta little 59 me agrada bastante. Agudos contenidos y medios presentes, la uso en bridge de una Strat con diapasón en maple.

Top of the line pickups!!!!
I absolutely love this Pickup that I installed in my 2021 Fender 75th anniversary commemorative U.S. Strat that has "fat 60s" single coil pickup in all positions. While I love the warm tones that I get from the middle and neck single coils, I want the guitar to scream when I hit the bridge position and this pickup there, leaving the other 2 fat 60s, really made the difference. So now I feel like I get the best of both worlds with this setup. I've had the guitar for 4 years and never played it because of that and now that I installed the Little 59 I haven't played any of my other electrics. Change out was super easy, if you can solder at all, and I highly recommend this pickup for those looking to "Beef Up" their sound in the bridge position. It will directly replace the single coil pickup without altering anything to the pickguard or body of the guitar.

Meh...
Bought this as a lark, to try it out. Its Ok, but not really getting the tones as one would from a full size humbucker. Spend the extra $15 and get a proper HSS pickguard to use a genuine humbucker.

Rips!
This thing rips! I blocked my trem and slapped this bad boy in, now my Strat is a rock machine!

I tried a lot of cheaper options, and none of them compare
I'm not a pickup snob, and generally speaking I usually favor more reasonably priced pickup brands like Wilkinson. But, I love the voice of the Little '59. And unfortunately for my budget, I have not found anything in a single-coil layout that sounds reasonably similar. There are several that LOOK the same, but none of them sound like this pickup. A decade ago almost every build I did had SD pickups in it. After buying a few dozen cheap pickups and doing a blind test, I've now found a less expensive alternative for almost every SD pickup model I used to use - Except the Little '59. There's plenty of great inexpensive PAF sounding humbuckers out there if you're not trying to keep the aesthetic of that signature stratocaster offset pickup. But, if you want a vintage PAF tone in a signature strat configuration, this is only pickup that I've found that'll give you that sound.

Great to fatten up a Strat lead tone.
Added to the bridge of my CS relic Strat and it really works. The split coil sound sounds like the original vintage Strat pick up but when you put it in HB mode it really sounds great. It cuts through the mix but is not harsh. It's in a real sweet spot of being bright and powerful but not shrill at all. Great pickup.

Super ce petit machin "Pick Up Seymour Duncan SL59-1b Little '59". Vraiment parfait !!!
