Overall they work fine, but they're not labeled/numbered so that would be helpful.

Tools came in intact and they seem strong and sturdy. The blades are very roughly ground and a couple of them have tool marks. Weight is good, handle size is good if you have smaller hands. The edges are pretty terrible, honestly, and I will need to sharpen the whole set in order to work with them.

I am impressed with the heavy duty construction. Had to strop some, but that is expected. Will be carving with fresh cut wood and figure these will work great. I was surprised with the variety. Would have given 5 stars if razor sharp. Happy with the value proposition

These were purchased as a gift. The recipient thinks they will be sturdy and useful. If they work out they are an excellent value for the price.

Nicely packaged, only issue is that some of the ends are dented and not sharpened properly.

Definitely not professional, but you will need professional level sharpening skills. I purchased these for a wood carving project and ended up using the quality gouges provided by my school. I did sharpen several but noticed the metal was pretty soft and chewed through quite a bit to get these sharp so they're not going to last nearly as long as tools with made better metal. You're better off buying 1 quality tool than this set. With quality chisels gouges and knives it takes a lot less time to carve and re-sharpen so just figure if you buy these to add the additional time and you'll still be buying replacement tools sooner so you'll only be saving money if you decide carving isn't your thing.

They aren't sharp. Otherwise love an but they need to be sharp. I purchased some before, tiny, flimsy, but razor sharp. I would give 5 stars if thwy worked out of the box
