I bought these adapters to modify a micro USB jack on two good quality braided Razer USB cables to use with video game controllers. The cables have a proprietary micro USB termination that work with an early model Razer Wolverine controller and Wildcat controller for Xbox. These adapters allow me to use the older controllers, plus newer controllers with modern USB C inputs. One of the cables is connected to my Xbox Series X, and the other is connected to my PC. They work fantastically for my use case. I have had no issues with latency, but what's most impressive is how compact they are. They add very little length and heft to the connection. I also used one to charge a small audio player I have and it worked fine. I can't speak for whether or not it had a significant impact on charging speed, other than to say it charged my device about as quickly as I can remember it ever charging (I don't charge it often).

I didn't know anything about USB C cables until I acquired an LG V40 phone. Imagine my dismay when I discovered that my assortment of cables -- placed strategically around the house, cars and in my travel bags -- were now obsolete. What to do! What to do! Well, like an idiot I ordered a bundle of new dedicated USB C cables. Which is fine. But then I stumbled across these cool adapters. I had no idea! The price was right and Amazon Prime delivery cinched the deal. (Say that five times fast!) I got the bright red, making them easy to spot. They fit nice and snug on the original old school cables, so no problems staying on. I tried them on my various strategically placed chargers, work great! I tried them on my computer to back up my files, no problem. All this for a little more than $1 apiece, what's not to love! Highly rated, highly recommended ... FIVE STARS!!!

Delivery was quick. I needed an adapter for a high end car USB that integrates my cell phone with my car. It fit just as advertised. When I unplugged it from my car, the outer sleeve came off, showing a white connector. At first, I thought this was due to the quality of the adapters, as all of the black outer sleeves came off easily. Then I realized it was a brilliant way to change from a black adapter to a white adapter, based on the color of the cord one was using. Not only do these work well, they come as a four pack so you can commit an adapter to other charging cords instead of having to take one adapter to each USB cable as needed. Very nice! The Bottom Line? Uncle Steve Approved!

Works great to connect/charge via the old B-type charging cable, to adapt to our Galaxy S21 phones (that was the reason this item was purchased). When trying to charge a different device with a C-type fitting, it would not charge the device. I would say that YMMV depending on the alternative device. I have not yet used it for data transfer to make an assessment.

Perfect adapter for keeping older cords for the newer items we have, so the cords can be used for both items so we don't need too many cords.

I purchased these adapters to resolve a problem with several 3 way charging cables that I previously purchased elsewhere. These 3 way cables have a micro USB, a lightening and a USB C connector all on one cable. In theory I should have been able to charge an iPhone with the lightening connector and my iPad with the USB C connector all at the same time. However I found the USB C connector would not connect to my iPad although it did work with other devices. By adding this adapter to the connector I found the connection now works as expected. The vendor of my 3 way cables did refund my purchase price and that refund paid for these adapters which resolved the problem. The adapters work great and are high quality.

I recently upgraded my cell phone that had a Micro USB input to a phone that uses a USB-C input. I didn't want to have to buy new car chargers for both my car and my wife's car so I came across this adapter, which converts the Micro USB plug on my chargers to a USB-C plug. This is a great little adapter and works perfectly!. It is small & compact and does a great job of charging my cell phone. This adapter comes in a 4 pack at a great price and the shipping was fast & easy. I didn't think I really needed 4 of them since I only had 2 car chargers, but I ended up using the other 2 adapters in the house with my other Micro USB chargers. I couldn't be happier!

I needed an adapter to convert to USB C for my solar charger on my camera. These were great, and worked perfectly. The connection was secure and the adapter is well built. I love that it came in a 4 pack so I can use it for many other things, which is a definite plus! Overall great value and works super well! Very happy with the adapters!

The adapters successfully convert MicroUSB to USB-C. I bought them because I need a long cable in my car converted from MicroUSB to USB-C to work with a new car charger, and I didn’t want to change the 3m cable. So far, the converters, attached to a MicroUSB cable, charge everything I have tried (Amazon Kindle, iPad Pro, Beats Pro buds) without getting warm - always a good sign. I have not tested data transfer, as this was not my use case.

Not the short type as per pictures. We received the "normal" longer ones. Just going to stick with Anker/Samsung as per other reviews.
