Championship Chili: Top Cookoff Winning Recipes

I was at first confused when the book arrived because the cover is different. But, the inside of the book is the same (I have another copy but wanted an extra to give as a gift). The new cover is actually a little classier, actually. It’s tiny but has some yummy bbq recipes, some hotter (spice-wise) than others.

We purchased this to help us out with a Chili Cookoff but when it came in it was very small about the size of the purse size Bible but not as thick. Also the holes were punched through some of the words or measurements. I would have not purchased this had I known it was going to be so cheap and the recipes were not all that either. Most of the recipes required things that I was unable to find and some of the things it called for were just way to expensive. I would go with something else that concentrated on Chili besides this book.

The recipes are old, some call for MSG, but good. I had a great laugh when I opened the box because the book is soo small.

Exactly what I expected, accept for the size.... index card size but content was good.

The "book" has the appearance of a cheap home self published pamphlet. Due to its appearance, I was unable to give the book as a gift as planned. It is not bound as a traditional book. Flimsy cover. The cover printing did not line up and is blurry/out of focus.

Really couldn't get very excited about this "Booklet"Didn't feel like there was real substance to it....Would not spend my money to purchase it if I had it inhand to look at first.

The recipes seemed off the wall and not what I expected. I am a chili head and always looking for good recipes...this wasn't it
