Shelf life of unopened pkg

I'm not having a problem with shelf life. In my house if I don't hide the pkg they will be gone in a week. But the way they are sealed, you should have no problem or worry about shelf life. I have a box in my food storage case to add to my survival pkg. Anything that is sealed like these Jack Links I expect to last at 6 mo's or better.

Does the original now have pepper?
