CowboyStudio Background and Reflector Clip (Black)

The jaws of this reflector clip can accommodate both light duty reflectors with 1/2 inch metal bands and heavy duty backdrops using 3/4 inch bands. A strong spring gives the jaws a very firm grip on the reflector being held. As seen in the product photo, construction is mostly black plastic with an aluminum tube connecting to the light stand's baby pin.Be aware that this clip holds the reflector parallel to the light stand. So if you just have a simple light stand you'll be limited to holding the reflector vertically, which will restrict your options. Using a boom arm, or a C-stand complete, the reflector could be held at more angles but you might need some gaffer tape, or a spring clamp, to secure the opposite side of the reflector to where the clip is located.

Great for the price if you're looking for compact and portable. This is for a collapsible background and uses a one-clip grip to suspend it from the top (or side). The shaft extends well. Stable enough with the Background installed. Only problem is a quality issue where one of the legs is cut a little too long and has to be pried out of the folded position. I think, if I can get the foot off, I might be able to take a file to it.

I bought this for a costume shoot and it did the trick! It's difficult to light faces well when you have a large brim hat or parasol shading the face. This Reflector has Gold, Silver, Translucent Diffuser, Black and White bounce. Because it's oval you can light the length of the body or even a horse (if used horizontally). It's a bit of a challenge in a wind (because it's lightweight) -- but the stand has a good grip and if you need to use the reflector w/o the stand it's easy to hold. The reflector folds up into a small zipper bag (included) for storage and the stand goes down to a small size.A great product for the price and the shipping was quick!

Sometimes you just need a dead hanging reflector to either boost or block light and this is just what I was looking for. It fits on most any light stand and grabs your reflector with decent tension. You wouldn't want to try using this in a windy environment, of course. There's not a lot to say about such a small, simple thing except that it's a bit overpriced for what it is. Nevertheless, I'd recommend it and buy it again...

I purchased these to hold up collapsible backgrounds for head shots and school photos since it is easier to transport a single stand instead of a whole background set up. I was extremely frustrated to discover that the clip didn't open enough to fit the flexible backgrounds in. I still use them, but we just hang the loop on the background over it. Although, I read another review that said to use a pencil or something similar to put through the loop and then have it hold that way. I may try that, as by just hanging it onto the clip with the loop causes it to tilt around too much.It does fit on the stands well, and holds on tightly, and the quality seems to be pretty good.If you want to use this for a reflector, then it's going to be pretty useless as it doesn't allow it to move or tilt in any way. If for some reason you need your reflector held at a straight 90 degree vertical angle, then I guess this would work for you.

I needed a larger reflector than the smaller round one I have. This one works great for my needs! It folds easily, and it arrived quickly, and in perfect condition. The stand makes a huge difference when filming without my crew. You may want to consider a couple of sandbags if filming outside on a breezy day to keep the wind from blowing things over. It is a large reflector, and it will catch the wind like a sail. I am very happy with my purchase, and would gladly buy another from this seller. The size of the boxes it is delivered in is very large, so don't be surprised by that when it arrives.

This is the perfect stand for my 5x3 green screen. It’s strong, very stable and adjustable. I would buy it again.

Great, holds my pop out green screen panels, a little snug yet better than the opposite so once it grabs the screen, it sits there sturdily.
