I'm writing this review over 5 years after I made this purchase. Not sure which is more surprising -- that the case I paid $14 has lasted this long, or that I still have the same phone! Of course, those two things are related. I still have this phone mainly because it still works and never got all busted up, and that's only true because this case is an inexpensive marvel. It's light, it's thin, it's fairly grippy, and lord have mercy but it can take a fall. If I had a supercut of all the times I've dropped this phone, you would be amazed it has survived. I've dropped this thing down flights of stairs, off speeding bicycles, into ditches, and onto concrete sidewalks. Through it all, this case has done its job. I don't know how, but it has.

I have had many cases for my phones. This case looks very nice and sleek on my iPhone X. However, the issue that I have with it is it is very slippery and I have no grip whatsoever. The first day of putting this case onto my phone, I realized how slippery it is when I pulled my phone out of my pocket. I dropped my phone and immediately knew that this is not the case for me at all. Thankfully I dropped it in thick soft grass for cushion.Hopefully I can find the box to return it because this is not the case for me. If you don't mind a slippery case that looks nice, this is the case for you.Update: I was contacted by Sophia with the company and she was great. She offered to replace my case with a different case and gave me an option. I selected a case for my iPhone 11 Pro Max and after receiving it; I did a few tests with it to test the durability on my daily function. It is better than my previous case and it has a little more grip. Since it is a slim case, the bumpers are not thick but my phone feels safe and secure.This experience has changed my mind and I am overall satisfied with the product. The only thing that I would change would be the overall lip to give the front a little more protection for the screen, but a screen protector helps out with that. I have changed my rating from a 3 star to a 5 star because of the experience which was great and also because I have a better case.

I bought this Humixx case to replace a very known brand that I always bought, that was falling apart on my iPhone X. I decided to try this Humixx because I was not satisfied with the way the other brand turned out this last time around. This Humixx case fit the iPhone X snuggly. The buttons are very responsive, it looks good, it can be used with wireless chargers (I have three different brands and have not had problems charging). I already had installed a very good glass screen protector, and the case fit very well around it. The only drawback for me was that the case is more difficult to grasp firmly than the one that I was used to, but I am now getting the hang of it. I bought the black with semi-translucent back, and I like how it looks. It cleans easily. And on the pro side is also the price, almost half than the other brand I used. Will it protect my phone on a fall? I hope so but that remains to be seen.3/10/2021 Follow up: today I dropped my phone from 5 feet to a tiled floor. It hit on one corner then fell facedown. I’m happy to report that iPhone and case survived without any scratch.

Product seems to be great from a sturdiness and protection point of view. Like the ~1mm lip on all sides that protects the glass and camera lens. Cutouts are precise and wide. Button controls are perfectly placed snd respond easily.The only issue I faced is the grip of the material used - it is very slippery. The phone case is good enough to protect the phone if it falls to the ground. But it is slippery enough to actually make the phone fall down to the ground (I easily dropped it once within a few minutes of putting on the case). I don’t get the assurance like I used to get with my previous Tech21 case I used for my iPhone 7. Here are a couple of suggestions for your next product:1) Use a different plastic - something that has more grip like a silicone feel.2) Add grooves pr dots on the sided to help provide grip from falls.

I’m writing this review because today while I was pumping gas, I left my phone on top of my car and drove off. Once I hit the highway doing about 65 I lost my music and realized what had happened. After stopping to go back and get it and watching my phone get ran over by countless cars, my phone was completely fine other than the screen but luckily I had a screen protector on.

It’s been great. Can’t recommend it enough. Used it for nearly 5 years. Great product all round.

Super impressed with this case. The fitment is spot-on, in fact it fits better than the Otter Box I used prior to this case. More than adequate lip to protect the front screen and the rear camera lens in case of a drop. Style is ideal; minimalist look, almost appears to be an iPhone without a case, and the back is opaque. While not crystal clear, the back does allow the Apple and iPhone logos to show through somewhat (not quite as clearly as the photos show, but still a good look). The best quality of this case is the feel. It’s not slick or matte - it has a rubbery feel but the case is very sturdy, unlike flimsy silicone cases. I am using it on my X, although it’s made for the XS. The only difference between the two models is that the XS has a slightly larger camera lens. The result is that on the X, there is a very slight gap, evenly around the rear camera lens. Even if you’re looking for the gap, it doesn’t seem out of place at all - it looks like it was meant to be this way. This case is worth 2-3x the price.
