Pretty good
Took a day or two to get used to the fit, still undecided about how I like the comfort. The waterproofing is great - I've been walking through enormous puddles and everything is 100% water tight. The puddles have been fairly deep, coming to just an inch under the top of the shoe. The composite toe is as promised. I can put a large amount of weight on the shoe without deflection.Fit is just a tiny bit unorthodox, I am a long time Merrell/Keen owner. If you are coming from those, I would suggest ordering at least a half size bigger. If you have any tendency to need wide, I would definitely suggest trying the (W) first. The style is outstanding, my wife loves them much more than my Merrells.

Narrow toe box. Has a strange angle that pinches.
If you have a need for a wide toe box then keep shopping. Otherwise, this shoe is fairly comfortable with the purchase of some good arch support inserts. Leather is good quality. Soles are kind of squeaky...

Very convenient and comfortable
I bought a second pair of these recently. I walk on concrete in a plant environment every day. The composite toe provides the same protection as steel but much lighter. I wear these out to restaurants and shops since they are comfortable. Make sure to get the W (wide) width unless you go half size higher. It makes them easier to slip on. I have never had them slip off. I have bought other brands (Timberland and Nautilus) and these are lighter and more comfortable than first said brand and last longer than the latter.

Nice but...
They are nice, but tight on the toes because of the cap.

Great work shoe.
My husband wears these several times a week and really likes them. Comfortable, look nice and great value for the money.

Very Robust Shoe for Real Work!
These are the real deal; a robust work shoe with a good gripping lug. If you need a good quality, heavy duty toe protection shoe, this is the one to buy. It's like a nice steel toe workboot, but condensed into an easy to get on, slip-on shoe. My feet feel unprotected and vulnerable when I wear my other casual shoes. These shoes would be great for many tradesmen, medical personnel, or in very crowded venue where your toes will likely get squashed.

The insoles of these shoes have improved drastically!
Very impressed with the upgrade to the insoles of these shoes. I last bought a pair of these 2 or 3 years ago and was very impressed with the quality but not the insoles. Now the insoles have obviously been improved and I will never buy the Timberland version of these shoes again because these are actually a better shoe for a significant reduction in price over comparable Timberland shoes. Great shoes for the money! Update: The insoles are showing bad signs of wear after 6 months of use 5 days a week. You probably need to think the material up in-between the ball of the foot and the toe. The shoes themselves are still great!
