I was hesitant to purchase these based on other reviews, but I have had nothing but a positive experience. The price is amazing for what you get, they stay on my clippers very well. My only negative is the fact that the lid of the storage compartment comes off too easily, but I am not concerned about that since the clipper guards worked so well and stay on so well. Definitely worth it!

And is provides great quality products. These allow me to do a shorter cut without getting too short and blocks the heat from the clipper so I can use them longer!

I can’t get the clippers to work on my curly dog when the attachments are on.

the combs worked great, but the crack in the lid of the case prevents it from closing securely. It arrived that way and the design of the lid looks prone to developing a crack in that spot

Used them twice now with a doodle and these are great. At first I thought the plastic was going to be less durable but plastic in this case is better because it doesn’t overheat and burn your dog. Nice clear case that locks the lid that organizes things. Don’t even waste time on a cheap shaver. It’s not worth it. Just get an expensive one and this kit, some blending shears, scissors, and you’re good to go.

The info I got directly by calling Andis should have been in the description. Plastic will not work on thick coats AT ALL. Andis said these are professional tools for trained groomers, I guess assuming novices would not be considering them and need more detailed information. I bought plastic because the metal was not available from Andis or Amazon. I have metal combs coming on Wednesday and can finish the job. The biggest problem using the 1" plastic comb was that it kept falling off and my dog's hair is so thick that I did not notice I was going from a 1-2 inch cut to cutting next to the skin with the #10 blade only. Not a good look, but those spots don't show much. And, my Doodle's cuteness is very distracting. I saw a sad video on YouTube of a dad cutting the family dog which was bigger with even thicker, longer hair doing the same thing I did - with awful results. I felt so sorry for him. He rated the trimmer "excellent," as do I, and I expect all will be well once I get the metal combs. Andis support seems to be excellent. I was told where I could buy the combs. But I did not find the videos as helpful as they were described to be. Thankfully, there are tons of Doodle videos on YouTube.

Nice, but I have to use a 30 blade on my dogs and these don't fit and there's nothing in the description that says that. Called Andis and she was very nice, told me what combs would fit. None come in boxes. Tried ordering box separately but it didn't work with new combs.

I am disappointed to say that these clipper guards SUCK! I bought these to go with my new AGC2 and while using, the guard fell off and I shaved my doodle with the 10 blade! He is left with a bald strip along his back. The 1" and 3/4" did not clip on well. I had to keep my thumb on the back of the guard to prevent it from falling off. I am beyond angry because my doodle has a bald strip along his back. I know hair grows back but for the next several months, he has to look like that! DO NO BUY THIS. It's made of cheap plastic and flimsy. It does not lift up the hair for cutting and just leaves unevenness all over. AVOID IT!
