Wilton 101 Piece Cookie Cutter Set

Love this set! For the price, this is THE set to get. I wish I had started my cookie adventures with these.The set arrived complete and in good condition. I laid them all out and didn't get a single warped one. Yes, as other reviewers have said, these are larger than you think, but for us - that is a good thing. We're actually going to use these to make cookies.With Easter approaching, I had begun my search for cutters when I came across this set. I wanted the tulip, the hopping bunny, the petal flower, and the egg. Sadly, this set doesn't come with a chick, but they are readily available elsewhere. The duck cutter can do in a pinch, but you'd want to "trim" the tail feathers for that baby chick look.I was disappointed to read reviews that said the egg was "pointy", and when I pulled it out of the box I saw exactly what they meant. BUT, taking a piece of bread (yes, realizing dough will be different), I cut one out and to my surprise, it didn't look pointed. (See photo.) If my cookie dough comes out differently, I'll just use a knife to ease any "points". Considering how inexpensive this set is - I'm willing! Lesson learned: You can't really tell a cut from the look of the cutter. ...but I am still very glad I have my comfort-grip egg cutter...even though the price for that ONE cutter would have bought half this box! ;o)As you can see by the photo, these cutters are (just) deep enough for taller cut cookies, but I usually do 1/4" so these are perfect. They just barely cut through a slice of bread, so if you're going to use these for clever sandwiches, plan on cutting all your bread one slice at a time first.The holiday sets are brilliant! Valentine set has the ruffled-edge hearts and various sizes I like and appreciate. Halloween and Christmas are going to be loads of fun! Definitely will use royal icing and flooding techniques for decorating.If you're thinking about using the letter and number cutters for cakes and such, don't. They are too big for that. Invest in a separate set. However, these will make nice two-and-three-bite cookies.If you're just starting out in cookie crafting, definitely get this set. It's a great starter!! Sure wish I had.*Tip: Fridge/freeze your rolled dough before cutting. Will make moving them to the cookie sheet MUCH easier!!Many thanks to the other reviewers who posted photos of the cutters!!!! I love this cookie cutter. It has a variety of shapes, all very interesting for my 2 year old kid. It does have the huge variety of animals that the 50 piece cutter set, but there are some basic ones like duck, teddy bear, fish, dog, dinosaur, etc. It also has all the alphabets and numbers which really excites my kid. It also has automobiles like car, truck, plane and train. They are all color coded to make searching easier. Red are animals, Green is christmas, Yellow is easter, Purple is automobiles, magenta for letters and so on. Hence I would say you can bake cookies using them for a variety of themed parties or occasions. It does cut sharp into the cookies (I make thin ones though). I would highly recommend these for people who like a huge variety and/ or have young kids to entertain. Overall good value for the buck.

I use this for play-doh for my kids. The biggest ones I actually use for baking, but if you look at the price for play-doh shapes this is SOO much cheaper to get and nobody ever notices. My kids are playing with these right now with kinetic sand and I remembered I never wrote a review for these. These are strong and they look pretty cool in the room with all the different color play-doh's next to them. I keep these in an old rubbermaid container that i lost the lid to, and they are always there to be played with. I hope somebody sees this review when looking for shapes for play-doh because they will save a bunch of money. For the kid-safe cutters (like knives and pizza wheels) for play-doh, yes buy the play-doh brand, but for shapes you cannot beat this price and free prime delivery.

I'm glad I bought this. It should include in the description what the specific cookie cutters are, because it's not just a mish mosh like most of these kind of things you order are. It has several color-coded cutters specified for each holiday (Valentine's Day=pink, Christmas=green, etc). Some of the cutters that you might use more often are the same shape in 2 or 3 sizes. It also includes all the letters and numbers, which I was a tiny bit disappointed by because I feel like it eliminated alot of the variety they might have had. Really cute though. Good set and I probably won't have to buy more anytime soon!

These cookie cutters are such a deal! When it comes to cookie accessories, I usually have a less-is-more kind of attitude. HOWEVER, you just can't get these quality shapes with anything but cookie cutters. I normally prefer metal cutters, but the price for these was much less expensive than even a few metal cookie cutters. The plastic makes them easy to wash, and I don't worry about bending them out of shape by accident. It took me a while to realize this, but these cutters are also loosely categorized by color so it's easy to find the cutters you need---a savior in a giant box of 101 cutters. There are two pretty weird things about this set: 1) there are like 4 different sized pumpkins when there could have been a greater variety of other cutters, 2) some of these are HUGE, and the sizes vary wildly between the cutters. That said, I'm so happy with these. Having these around is great for when kids in my family come over and want to play with playdoh or make cookies. And the shapes are so varied, it makes me want to make more holiday-themed cookies! Great buy!

This is a nice collection of cookie cutters as it gives you a lot of options, making it fun for kids. However, they are rather thin and flimsy. Not sure how well they will hold up.

Die Auswahl ist wirklich super und erst recht um den Preis. Man hat von Allem etwas dabei egal ob Weihnachten, Halloween, Ostern, Valentinstag usw. Da sie eher groß sind kann man sie auch wunderbar als Kuchenausstecher verwenden. Ich habe z.B. einen dünnen Blechkuchen gemacht und dann mit den Ausstechern mini Küchlein ausgestochen. Sieht dann sehr nett aus wenn man das noch ein wenig schön am Teller herrichtet. :)
