I love this silly gadget!
I am so glad I bought this strainer. It works perfectly. I had to work at it a few times to understand how it attached ( all of 5 minutes, really), but I use it almost every night and love it. Yes it does fit all my pots and once you use it, you develop your own style. I put it on the side of the pot rather than the edge opposite the handle, it's easier to pour that way.I make a lot of pasta salads and rinse the pasta several times under cold water. With normal colanders, I need both hands, and I always lose some pieces in the sink, but once I figured out how to hold it, I haven't lost one noodle. Sometimes add frozen peas to the boiling pasta water. I haven't lost one of those either. The strainer itself doesn't get hot, so if I'm feeling insecure about the weight of the pasta, I just hold the top with my fingers. And you can put the strainer on at the beginning of right before you are going to strain it. I love it.

Works great
I have a pot with a lip in it. Takes strong grip to get Gizmo over that lip but fits. May be difficult if arthritis in that situation.Love this ! Easy to use, clean. Drains super.Have gotten this as gifts. People I gave this to in turn got as gifts for their friends.

Very handy
I love how easy it is to use. Sometimes it’s a little hard to clip on the side of a pot (especially small pots) but works great and easier to clean than a strainer.

Nice
It is very versatile and easy to use. Not as heavy as I expected but still very sturdy. Great value with the comfort of not burning your hands wile trying to strain.

Works well for one box of pasta
Works well if you make one box of pasta, we usually make two and some falls into the sink with it, so be warned if you are making two boxes, you may need to scoop a bit it out first. But over all takes up less space and easier to clean than a full colander.

Great for what it is. I do still prefer a traditional colander.
I bought the Snap N Strain Pot and Pasta Strainer as an alternative to my traditional silicone colander. My previous colander broke, and I am in the process of moving, so I was looking for something on the inexpensive and smaller side that would prove convenient and not bulky when it came time to move to my new place. I intend on buying a more traditional colander, but I thought this would be a great substitute in the meantime. As someone who spends a lot of time in the kitchen, I was really excited to find an easier way to strain my food, finding something that allows me to keep the food still in the pot, rather than having to transfer the food back and forth between the pot and colander. In simple terms, does it strain the food, yes. Were there some challenges, yes. When I first used the strainer, I thought the concept itself was very easy to understand, but I found when attaching the strainer to the pot, you have to really push down on the strainer for it to clip onto the pot and become secured. While I like that the strainer does become rather secure once clipped on properly, it is the struggle to get it clipped on that I find worrisome. When dealing with hot food/liquids, the last thing I want to do is feel like I am struggling with the pot/strainer.I also found that, depending on the size of your food, the food can slip out on the top. I've noticed this more so is the case with larger food items or when you have more food in the pot, for example, a family-size box of tortellini. This can prove wasteful if you're not careful. I recommend a bowl underneath or something to try to catch the food. You also need to tilt the pot quite a bit to get all the water out. I have found that some water can get trapped and you can't really shake out the water like with a traditional colander.Despite the issues I found, I think this is a great tool when you're in a bind. I don't think it replaces all the benefits I have found with a traditional colander, but it does what I need it to do for now. Once I move into my new place and purchase my preferred colander, can I say that this will be moving from its spot in the cupboard? No, I don't think so.

It's the little things that make us happy
So convenient. Works as intended. I like that I can drain the water from veggies or pasta out of the pot and keep them in there for sauce or seasoning without dumping them just to put it back to finish a dish.

Convenient
I considered making this purchase for quite some time. I wasn’t sure I wanted to add yet another item to my very small galley-style kitchen. I’m so glad I did. This strainer is so much more convenient to use than a traditional colander. And it’s still small enough to fit in a drawer without taking up much space. It attaches easily to the pots I use frequently and it’s easy to hand wash.

Love it.
This is a great gadget, no more food falling out the pots into the sink. Really easy to use for everyone as kids are using it to, quick to use for anything you need from spaghetti to even noodles.
