Was looking for a substitute for my daily shampoo - Trader Joe's Spa hydrating/nourish. Someone had written suggesting Giovanni 50/50. Bought a small bottle and loved it. Clean fragrance and excellent daily product that leaves hair clean but not weighed down. When I attempted to order a large bottle, received a much darker shampoo. I checked with the manufacturer and was informed that the batch code identified it as being produced in 2019. 5 years old. Shelf life is 3 to 3 1/2 years. Was told they had no expiration date but cautioned the fragrance might be different. Returned to Amazon for a replacement and received an identical old batch product. Apparently they don't make the 33.8 oz size any longer, so this is someone trying to move old stock The shampoo itself is great but order in smaller sizes to ensure freshness. They do currently offer a 1 gal bottle if you're looking for a larger quantity.

Great shampoo for color treated hair.

I’ve used this brand n formula x over 15 yrs. is the only shampoo I use. Great x thin hair like mine. It cleanses it without living it over dry or oily and n is gentle on my scalp since I have sensitive skin w a fresh soft like herbal scent. Love it

I've used this brand before, so liked that I can buy in bulk. It's one of the few products that keeps my hair clean for more than one day. However, it dries my scalp (despite it saying it's hydrating). So I have to use conditioner on my scalp to keep myself from getting dandruff. I'm still going to keep using it. Their other hydrating shampoos just don't work for me as well.

Loved this Shampoo only use it once a month. Gets my hair super clean and my hair doesn't feel stripped afterwards. Great price for a very large bottle. My Hair Type fine to medium density, Normal Texture, 4a/3c Curl Type, & normal porosity.

This shampoo really gets our hair clean. I wondered why I was running out so fast and then I realized the whole family was using it and loved it. So that’s what I’ve been buying and it’s working great for us.

Very unhappy with the change in scent. Nothing indicated any change but my face is on fire so something is definitely different. I've used this product for YEARS with no problem until now
