Chrysler Heritage: A Photographic History (Images of Motoring: Michigan)

A compact but comprehensive visual history of Chrysler Corporation. I am a Chysler buff and had never seen some of these photos. Did you know that the 1942 DeSoto offered a steering wheel - mounted cigarette lighter as an option, or that Chrysler built Saturn rockets flew men to the moon? You'll see it all here. I enjoyed reading over this photographic history of Chrysler. Lot of good photos and interesting info on the man Walter Chrysler and the company that bears his name.

This is a nice collection of photos representing Chrysler history from the first Chrysler in 1924 to the PT Cruiser of 2000 with a few pre-Chrysler photos thrown in for good measure. A good basic history.

This book is great with many rare pictures of the great cars that Chrysler, Dodge, DeSoto and Plymouth built from the inception of the company. A must have for anyone who loves these cars. My wife and I have a fully restored 1940 Chrysler Royal Coupe and enjoyed the book immensely.

Lots of great photos which I love

This is a well-written, nicely illustrated book on Chrysler history.

Not many photos and none are color. Learned a few new facts. If I had seen this in a bookstore and flipped thrpugh it, I wpuld not have bought it.

There were a few reviews commenting on the lack of colour pictures - I didn’t care about that too much given the time period this covers, but upon receipt of the book I do see where those comments were coming from - there was opportunity to have some colour which would have brought some of the pics to life.That said, the person I gave it to is a long time Chrysler guy and he really enjoyed it.

It is a nice book to enhance my collection of books about my favourite automaker.A book to pick up and browse through from time to time.
